Yup that’s correct! And you can’t get someone from your nursing department to sign off, you can get someone from the financial aid department to.

Yes, they only accept B or higher. Mercy College in the Bronx and Dobbsferry accepts C or higher but I would highly suggest to retake Chem again because the likelihood of them having more applicants with stronger grades is very high and you’re application will be rejected.

In the guidelines it states applicants who have EFC’s between $0 and $6,345 are considered to have the greatest need on page 12:

I missed this part in your question,not sure what exactly they asked from the academic recommender because they academic recommender had access to the questions in the portal on their end. But for the non academic recommender, they should write about your experience and/or interest in helping underserved communities. So if you’ve done any sort of community service or volunteer work, it would be ideal to have the person oversaw your work write one for you. Also, both recommenders should describe your relationship with them. More information is on page 34-35 in the guidelines.

You need two (2) recommendation, one academic and one non-academic h/e if you’ve been out of school for more than 5 years you can use another non academic recommender they just need to answer the same questions that the academic recommender would answer. It can be either handwritten or electronic signature
