  1. Yeah I did. I applied to Scripps 3x and Sharp 1x. For Sharp last oct, my app went to the manager but I didn't get picked for an interview (SCV). I figured while I wait for all these new grads to open up I might as well get a job. I currently work at a SNF which I started 2 weeks before this last round so I was able to put it on my resume. I'm coming up on a month working there and I don't regret it. It's hard but I feel like I have learned so much. Also feel like I'm not wasting away at home lolol
  2. Does anyone know if there's a difference between submission received & 'under review'? Mine says under review and has been since I submitted
  3. I thought they had already reached out for interviews? (I didn't get an interview, status still says new and one 'in process')
  4. Are the interview dates for this month or next? Congrats! I've been waiting on them since the hiring event ?
  5. Same. I was expecting an email lol
  6. Really??? Did you go to the hiring event? What did they ask if you don’t mind me asking
  7. Yeah it’s just for CV i think
  8. Idk about grossmont but the new grad coordinator I talked to at CV said there’s gonna be a scenario thing where the pt has something wrong with them & you have to figure out what to do lol
  9. Congrats!! Yes CV. I applied to CV not grossmont
  10. MS/PCU at CV as well! And MS at Memorial (but I know have zero chance at memorial due to my ADN)
  11. Yay! Hoping for good news all around. whaT floor did you apply to?
  12. Yeah, their "Sharp Meet and Greet" thing lol. I met the new grad coordinator one on one but i know she ended up doing a presentation because there was too many people
  13. Hey all checking in Applied 10/14, application was updated on 11/22 and got a self identify email today at noon. External applicant, ADN, attended the job fair a few weeks ago. Good luck!
  14. I've talked to quite a few people and no ones heard from CV yet.
  15. Has anyone received any updates for Sharp Chula Vista? I'm thinking about reaching out to them to ask for updates
  16. congrats!!! what floor / hospital did you apply to?
  17. Reading from previous threads i think the self identify thing is just for them to know you’re legit? Or something like that. So the link saying it doesn’t work rn is supposed to happen. May I ask which hospital was your first choice? I’m trying to figure out if CV has looked at apps yet
  18. It wasn't really well advertised imo. I only knew about it because someone had posted the flyer on the new grad page on FB. I was close to not going because someone said it was for experienced nurses only and I even called HR to confirm and they said experienced nurses only. So glad I didn't listen to her because I would've missed the opportunity.
  19. oh shoot really?? I got there at 1 and was the first person to talk to her and I saw she talked to quite a few people as well. I left around 230 so I wasn't aware of the presentation. That's so lame I'm sorry!
  20. Yes very! I had a sit down informal interview with the new grad coordinator. She said she was glad new grads came to the event because she’s able to put faces to the resumes. Overall it was a great experience and she’s very sweet and welcoming.
  21. I went to the Sharp Hiring Event today. I talked to HR and they haven't looked at applications yet!
