  1. Lmk if you want to set it up! Can be thru FB, GroupMe?
  2. @simplykayla Yes, I believe all acceptance letters state the same thing. On the website they reveal that final acceptance is contingent among satisfactory health status, clearance of background check, and BLS certification. I'm sure they will provide more explanation with the acceptance letter that is being mailed out.
  3. @Catlover123 Head up high and don’t give up! I applied for two semesters before I got this acceptance. Keep trying, you WILL get in where you are meant to be. Good luck!
  4. I just got my acceptance letter via email as well! ?
  5. Hi there! Does anyone happen to know if they are accepting students for the Spring 2021 semester & when their application opens?
  6. @workingsmartnothard Science portion relied heavily on both anatomy and physiology of the organ systems. Additionally a good number of life science questions regarding how to evaluate studies (variables and such), and a lot of logic and conclusion in research. Good luck on Friday!
  7. So far I have received updates from GCC and COC for invitation to takes the TEAS online and in person at the end of the month. Their emails set the intention that they are continuing accepting applicants for the Fall 2020 cohort. I know LAVC's application period ended on 5/15, and that online application process wasn't too bad. So far Pierce and LAVC are the two schools that are kind of leaving people in the dark as far as information goes.
  8. Looks like the date is set for May 29th via Proctorio. Good luck to us all!
  9. @om96 Yes, I was in the same situation. I was supposed to take the TEAS back in March but it was postponed. Emails were sent out to the applicants that were eligible for the invitation. (ex: meeting all the criteria requirements: GPA, pre-reqs, etc.)
  10. Same, got my invitation via email! Good luck to us all.
  11. Received the same email. I am really glad they are keeping in touch with us through all of this. Good luck to all!
  12. Received an email notifying all applicants that application review is being pushed back to May. All the revisions are updated on the COC Nursing website. We're all going to have to wait just a little bit longer...
  13. Has anyone received a letter yet?
  14. @FutureNurse0786 Yes please update if you hear back! Appreciate it
  15. Hello! Applied to the program. Hopefully we hear from them soon!
  16. @KayNik4089 Same. I emailed --------------------- and the Nursing Department, I also called the office and left a voicemail to see if they were going to send any updates. No responses so far. Hopefully we hear back soon.
  17. Anyone here getting ready for the TEAS on the 28th? I was able to reserve a spot on sign-up genius but I could not select LAPC as a site on the ATI website? Unless we only create an account on the ATI website and reserve our spot on sign-up genius? Anyone know an answer to this? Thanks
  18. Hi All, I am really glad that there is a thread for LAVC up and running. Also really happy we have this space to encourage each other as we are all working hard to get into nursing school. I've had my share of rejections. This is my first community college that I am applying to, so I'm praying we all get good news sometime soon! Keep pushing!
  19. @619nurse from the information that I gathered from the ABSN Webinar, BU has a list of 52 general education core requirements before you can move onto the nursing core. If your pre-reqs are done from community schools, then you may have a better chance at moving on to completing solely the nursing core. I heard their first round of clinicals are set for Summer 2020! All their pre-reqs are on the BU website. I just got word that my application is currently under review. So I am patiently waiting for an update! Fingers crossed. Good luck to everyone else applying! Brandman University ABSN
  20. Just waiting for my transcripts to be mailed in! I hope that I get accepted into the program. Seems very ideal. Is anyone plan to work while doing the program? Also, is anyone planning to move there? I live in LA and would have to find housing.
  21. @Leocky so exciting! How was the Admissions process like? Also, do you happen to know the tuition for the program each semester?
  22. Hello, I am not a student at Brandman. But I am interested in applying. I spoke with the Director of the ABSN program and she said their minimum GPA requirement is 2.0 and they allow for students to take prerequisites at the University. The program can be finished in 3 years but if all/most of your pre-requisites are completed, then the nursing core should be finished in 4 semesters! Additionally, I found out that that they only admit 24 students per semester. (Spring, Summer, Fall) Is anyone else planning on applying? I just submitted my application for the priority deadline for the Spring 2020 semester.
