If you scored that high you should get in. Did she let you know when they would be calling to offer seats for the next go around? Typically they don’t call and offer seats until the all the testing dates are complete from my understanding.

@el645ci I live in North Sacramento but I have family in Reno who I can stay with while I am there which was the only reason I applied up there.

@Mr.SGV That happened to me. My advisor had left. I would recontact the school and go from there. That’s what I did and they set me up with a new advisor.

@Chao, Good to know! I am just trying to work 1 day a month at my current job Kaiser so I can keep my seniority because it’s easier bidding jobs with more seniority when it comes to being an RN. It’s just figuring out living situation will be the hardest part since there isn’t in campus housing, since my husband has to stay in Sacramento for his job.

@Chao Thank you so much for the Information. I am applying this go around so I’m just curious. I live in Northern California and plan to go back and forth if that is manageable, so I’m trying to get a feel for on average how many days your on campus? Or does it depend on the block your in? @Elly KD My stuff isn’t submitted yet either. My councilor said I have until October 5th. I’m waiting to submit everything because I’m taking my Tease exam again next weekend. So if you get it there and verified by a week I think you might be okay?

The last day to apply is October 5th. So I’m assuming after that date.

@kellymarie1537 Yes I have everything complete. I went to William Jessup University for my undergrad which is a private Christian college so I have all the classes needed.

@kellymarie1537 Yeah I don’t know what I’ll do. Because my husband has to stay in Sacramento because he works in the Bay Area. Maybe the trailer or go back and forth depending on when we have to be there and stay in Airbnb’s and hotels.

@tlc_nurse1 Hey! I’m thinking of applying to the asbn program. I just sent over my transcripts. How is it for you? How’s the load? I live in California so I’m not sure what I would do. Either take our trailer up there or hotel and fly back and forth. What are people doing that are not from OR?

@Kbay What schools are you going to apply to?? The only other one I’m looking at right now is Simpson University in Redding. I did my undergrad at William Jessup university so I have all the pre reqs they require.

@Kbay No I haven’t. I was going to give it until the end of next week and give her a call if I haven’t heard. I most of the time got a VM but when I did get ahold of her it was at 6pm at night. Your score is close to mine so your in the same boat as me. I will be traveling back and forth to Reno from Sacramento. But I have family to stay with up in Reno thankfully. If I hear anything I’ll let you know.
