You’re gonna do great, they asked me about my shadowing experience, a time a made a mistake in clinical and asked one clinical question which was if I had a post op surgery patient what are 3 things you will do for them! They also asked how I dealt with patient death in the past. Then I had a second interview with a floor nurse and that interview was all behavioral like why do you want to work ICU and my interest in cardiology and explain a time you had conflict with co worker. Thank you!! And not really other than shadowing for 20 hours I didn’t really have any other ICU experience, but I’m also a care partner/ patient care tech so maybe that helped a little LOL Also they reached out a day after the recruiter told me she sent over my application to them!

I just accepted a position on the CVICU for the July residency! My interview was great they didn’t ask me any questions specific to the ICU, just general nursing questions.

I got in touch with HR! Mine said “submitted” for a week until I contacted HR, they also didn’t send me the battery test I’m not sure if they’re still doing that. During my interview is when they asked my behavioral questions, I’m assuming to make up for the batter test.

Yeah Daryl left last month appearantly, but they told me that he had already calculated everyone’s kaplan scores all they have to do is recalculate it I guess. I spoke to Joy this morning and she said that she’ll try to get them out today but she’s not making any promises.

Yes it was recently! Like last week.

Actually I spoke to Mr King recently and he said about 130 people had applied! So that’s not too bad considering other semesters that number was way higher.

I’m super nervous too! I did speak to Robin Shepherd and she said they typically accept people from high 70s but she wasn’t sure of what the scores looked like. What was your weighted average because they look at that number not the overall!

I'm freaking out ya'll! I didn't change my plan/program to Health Science before submitting my application, what's the process of doing that? Did anyone do it?

Hi i’m also applying for the fall semester! I got a 84% overall and a weighted score of 86%. I hope that’s enough being that I did really well in the Math (93%) and Science (90%) portion.
