  1. @Jackie Pip I’m not sure what happen, because I was under the impression that acceptance letters would go out in May. I believe due to the COVID they changed it. My friend as well applied and didn’t receive anything. I would email Sylvia Waller from AVC and see what’s the status of your application. Good luck.
  2. @Nursing24/7 sure my email is [email protected]
  3. I got my acceptance letter as well. Congratulations to those who received it.
  4. Barstow has a online religious class. Be prepared to study everyday after class getting out late, physiology teacher is a Dr and honestly I think she sucks at teaching passed all my classes with A but hers and I didn't continue the program. Now I'm 25,000 in debt for 8 weeks of school. But best of luck if you do decide to apply.
  5. hello all, I was reading some of the comments, yes they do it by point system. However, about the biology classes, I as well was told the this program was created for students who want to do RN but don't meet the qualifications. Let me give you a little background of me. I have my bachelors and I was accepted to MSMU the Accelerated RN program. This program was super fast pace and expensive. Living 2hr and 40 min away from the school did not help and I couldn't move out their because I have a daughter and they don't allow you to work and do the program. So I decided to not continue. I figured I will apply to AVC Rn program, unfortunately because I had a withdraw and I took micro twice because my first teacher was horrible I got a D when I retook it I got an A. So its not about being dumb and not able to pass a class people go through things in life and everyone has a reason. However, I do think its dumb that they say you only need BIO 100 but in reality If you don't have additional classes you have a low chance of getting in. Oh yeah I had the wrong Communication class for the AVC RN program too. Which is dumb because I have a higher COMM class and I my bachelors is in Public Health. So I am still hesitant about this program I am emailing the RN Director with a couple questions. If she gets back to me I will post them on here.
