  1. I applied for FY21 as a DA CCRN (ICU). I was told that the October board was for NCP applicants only and mine would be looked at in November. I haven't been able to find any other information or other people that have applied.
  2. Just curious....how many correct questions do we have to get correct to pass for the new version that came out this year? Someone posted their pass sheet and it said they only needed 83 correct questions but that’s not a 70%
  3. I moved here because my husband is in the Navy and we were stationed in San Diego. My only option is to get a job in this area. I’m sure majority of people are originally from here or have family here.
  4. I never got an email or phone call so I called HR and they asked for my name and told me my application was not selected to move forward. So if you are really wanting to know go ahead and call HR to find out. Not sure what else could possibly be added to my resume besides graduating from a California program to make my chances better. Oh well I guess. Good luck everyone!
  5. I have not heard anything back yet but I graduated from a BSN program December 2018 in Tennessee, I have passed the NCLEX and started the transfer process on my license to CA, I moved to San Diego a month ago, I did an internship in a level 3 NICU for a year during nursing school, worked as a nurse intern at a children’s hospital for a year during school, volunteered at the children’s hospital, I have PALS and NRP, and I also have personal experience in the NICU as a parent (my son was born at 30 weeks). I don’t know what else I could possibly do to make myself a more competitive applicant if I do not hear anything back. No email, no phone call as of yet so I will consider that a good thing for now.
  6. ME! I’m going to be so mad if there is nothing sent today and I call them and they tell me next Friday. I plan on calling HR today around 4 if I haven’t heard anything by then. I have other jobs lined up waiting to give them an answer. Can’t put it off another week or two.
  7. I’m still waiting to hear from the NICU.
  8. Congrats! Still waiting over here lol NICU first pick and PICU second. Do we only hear from our first pick? My resume is allllllll NICU experience and NICU certifications so I figured I would only hear from them if I even get that.
  9. Awesome! Congrats! Just asking so I know where to look ?
  10. Did you get a call or email for the ED? Anyone hear anything for NICU or PICU
  11. No we have not interviewed yet. We are waiting on phone calls/emails for an interview. Only one of us on here got a phone call so far for an interview. I called and got an update that they would send out emails next Friday letting us know if we are selected for an interview or not.
  12. No problem! I called a couple weeks ago asking specifically for an update and she told me we would get a phone call in the next week or two. That would have been this week but I never got anything so I figured calling to update about my NCLEX was a good excuse to see if they would say anything ?
  13. I just wanted to let everyone know about the information I just found out! I called Rady today to let them know that I took the NCLEX and passed. I was not calling to get a status update on the program or anything and she randomly told me that if we are selected to move forward in the program then we will get an email on Friday April12th. She didn't say what the email would consist of just that if we were selected to move forward then we would get an email that day! Hope that calms everyones nerves. It made me feel better because I freak out a little on the inside every time a San Diego number pops up on my phone haha
  14. Hey everyone! I applied for the NICU as my number one pick, PICU as second pick, and even threw in a third option just in case in the ED. I called HR the beginning of the week for an update and she said it would be this week or next week when they start making phone calls. Good luck to everyone!
