One school actually denied me for admissions because of my prior discipline eventhough mines already active and unencumbered. They told me that clinical/preceptorship will not be guaranteed due to prior discipline.

Honestly just apply, and make sure to call the manager and explain your situation. Not all are the same, there are still managers that will be willing to help and understand your situation. Yea and I agree I think it really depends on what lead you to the probation too.

Only jobs that will hire are those psych facilities, nursing homes where theres short staff or the worst nursing homes out there. Also I heard dialysis hires too and try insurance companies.

I am in the same situation as everyone here are, I just got off probation last May and I am applying for MSN-FNP program. Any recommendations as which school would accept someone with prior discipline? What school you guys got into?

So does it mean home health care companies can hire nurses with probation restrictions? They did test me one time when they interviewed me but it was negative and they also asked me to attend the rehab and all that but i denied because i never did drugs or became alcoholic in my life even once and i still ended up with a 3 yr probation with 1-13 restrictions on my license. I was forced to resign in my job last week coz they said they cant accommodate the restrictions on my license.

Thanks for the advice, yea i think thats the only way ill be able to fix my license im on my way to get a truck license too as a back up plan.

Ive used pyxis and pyxis is safer and easier coz it notifies you right away, i made a mistake in omnicell we used omnicell in that hosp. I admit i was busy that shift but i know its not a good reason so im kind of stuck now. Just looking for a job with my restrictions on my license

I really need help, its so stressful, i just started my 3 yrs probation due to 2 narcotic wasting errors in my old job. Ca brn applied the first 1-13 restriction conditions on my license and i never did drugs in my life, never had dui, never did any crime in life, never smoked. I told my hospital which is my current job about the restrictions and they sent me to paid leave and told me to resign last week or otherwise they will terminate me and they also put me in a non hireable status which really sucks, Me here now looking for a new job. Are there any nurses whos been in my position who got the first 1-13 conditions? Im from sacramento area, any recommendations that you guys know where i can get a job and where should i apply coz i already got denied by 3 facilities, i really dont know what to do know i felt like ive been treated as a person who is diverting meds at work...
