Duke CRNA class 2022
Hi Christian, For some reason it won’t let me send a private a message. Before you got accepted into Dukes program, what were some things you believe or were told would help you be a strong applicant? Were you a nurse assistant before becoming an RN? How many years of RN experience did you have before applying to CRNA? Did you have extra carricular activities or any shadowing hours? Congrats on getting into Duke’s program!

Was CRNA worth it all?
murse 1293, Man, happy Monday, go back to sleep and try waking up on the right side of the bed. I was trying to look for stats but had no luck so thought i'd reach out to others who JUST RECENTLY applied. Things change when there's threads from 4 years ago. It's not placing a cart in front of the horse when you're planning your future. It's how you set up for success. I kindly had a response from someone who is willing to give insight. Don't be an internet troll. Best of luck with your successes with that kind of attitude. lol

Was CRNA worth it all?
Thank you so much for your response. As a male and how I grew up I want to be able to support my girl and not have it be the other way around but for situations where grad school is the future, sometimes it has to be temporary where there's support from the other person until all is said and done. Then of course CRNA pays off and everything is paid back. I appreciate your response.

Future CRNA
Thank you so much for your response. As of right now I'm a 4.0. I took the GRE in the past but scored a combined of around 287 and writing 3.5. I've heard of students getting into the CRNA program after 1 year of experience but I'm not sure of their stats. Is this very uncommon? Are you a CRNA and how rewarding do you find the career?

Future CRNA
Hi Everyone, I'm currently an accelerated second degree BSN student wanting to pursue a career as a CRNA but would like some insight on the process. I previously applied to PA school but my interest has changed to anesthesia so I rerouted but I have some concerns. As a 27 year old male with a serious girlfriend, marriage and a family in the future, what is your plan? For those of you that applied and got interviews or have been accepted, what did it take? I've learned all the stats about PA students but what about CRNA. GPA, experience, etc? How do you plan to live? loans? significant other/family support? All of this is super important to consider with any medical career that involves intense schooling so I'm just looking for some insight and to know what I'm really getting myself into so I can set myself up for success.

Was CRNA worth it all?
DreameRN, I'm an accelerated BSN student right and now want to pursue CRNA. I'm curious to know, what were your stats like for CNA school? (GPA, experience, etc) and a little more personal, how are you managing the program in terms of living and finances. That's probably mine, and others, biggest concerns. Any insight is highly appreciated and congrats!

Duke CRNA class 2022
Hello to both of you, As an accelerated second degree BSN student wanting to pursue a career as a CRNA, I'd like to ask you a few questions. What were your stats like when you applied? (GPA, experience, etc) Was this your first time applying? One question a little more personal but my main concern, living situation. Did you both save money and will be living off of savings, family support, significant other? Any information would be greatly appreciated and congratulations! Matt
