Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know what I am experiencing with Peds Emergency. I got a call for a 3rd and final interview next week. They asked for reference checks before the interview. They are interviewing 8 people and hiring 2. My recruiter mentioned that Adult Med was hiring 5. I can't remember the other tracks, but I can tell you Adult Med was the highest amount of people getting hired. Not sure if that was a specific unit. I hope that helps. I believe they have interviewed.

Has anyone heard back from pediatric emergency yet?

I am interviewing for pediatric emergency. I have not received any rejection letters as of now. Hoping for the best. ?

The email confirmation I received last night stated that they will be conducting "interviews all week." If you haven't received a rejection you might receive an interview sometime this week. ?

I did not specify the emergency department in my cover letter. But I did specify my experience, which could be why I received the interview. Don't lose hope. ?

Seriously!!! This whole thing sucks!!!

I heard we will not know what our schedule looks like till the week before school starts.

We received an email on 5/22 to see if we were still committed to Solano nursing program. After my response, they informed me that they had no further updates at this time. So I’m not really sure what is going on?

Has anyone heard anything yet?

When I went to meeting they said they get about 150 applicants a year. I would assume the 1st 11 made it in. Or they are going to redo the whole thing.

That’s weird the alternate list starts with D. And goes to K then ends with an E. Well, I guess we will wait and see what happens. Just sucks it happened to begin with.

Hello, I just got on the alternate list for Solano. Khalladay How did it work out for you on the alternate list? Do they give you number? Thanks in advanced.

After reading what you went through last year I am truly happy for you!! And everyone! Congrats!

Don't give up hope. We will all get in somewhere! I will be applying to Solano in September and reapplying to ARC and SCC next year. We will get there, it is our DREAM! Take a breath and pick yourself up and keep going! Our time will come!!

This is the week!! Hoping for the best, trying to prepare for the worst! Good luck everyone... It is out of our hands, that's what I keep telling myself. I am so nervous.

Los Medanos in Pittsburg does the same thing as far as ranking I applied there. From what I heard they get 400 applicants. Solano only gets 150 applicants. There application period is coming up in September. You might have to take their pharmacology though. Napa doesn't get a lot of applicants either but you do need you CNA to apply. Which being an Emergency Dept Tech. I can't find myself to go back and get as of yet. But who knows I maybe preparing to get my CNA if i get rejected this year. Napa's application is by mail time. So if you are the post office at 8 am you are in. There application period is coming up this June. I'm not sure if that helps any of you but I thought it might be worth putting it out there.

Goodluck to the people who applied to Sierra, I will be be praying for you. It was a little to far for me to go but wish I could have applied.

Does anyone know how many people applied to ARC and SCC?
