  1. Any one want to start one?
  2. Is there a fb group for MS program?
  3. Check out crash course for a basic overview. It could help you understand the more basic concepts to help you ask questions about the more complex ones.
  4. Mine said waitlisted. I guess I will email Monday.
  5. I think I figured out what my real issue is. I know I will do well in whatever program I am in because I’m a hard worker. I think I wrongly set up the rest of my time counting of being accepted into a program and counting on that to give me happiness instead of working on dealing with my depression. I will still email my interviewer to see if there is anything I can improve on and actually work towards fixing myself.
  6. I didn’t get into Rush’s GEM program which was my top choice and it has hit me hard. I am questioning my self worth and well, everything. I am not a young person by any means and definitely been rejected from other academic ventures but I seriously thought I had a chance and that I was a good fit for this school. I didn’t do as well on the interview as I would have liked but I gave thought out answers to the questions. I don’t know why I am actually posting because I know it’s silly to put all your self worth on being admitted to a program or not. Maybe I am hoping to hear about similar situations that turned out better? I am even considering emailing the interviewer to ask if she can give me any insight. I emailed admissions already and got the generic response of we can’t admit everyone.
  7. I did. DePaul and UIC. Not too hopeful right now though.
  8. Congrats to those in and waitlisted!
  9. No waitlisted. I just didn't get in.
  10. I have asked and got no feedback.
  11. I didnt get in
  12. Website said late March for master’s and early April for bachelor’s .
  13. I knew people in the program years ago but not currently in the program. I think at the first look they said they go to 110 at least that’s what I wrote down. Yes I think you are right you would get an email saying you are not on the waitlist. My stats are: Manager at peds clinic for like ever (I’m the ripe age of 35). Undergrad gpa in music: 3.26 Grad gpa in sociology: 4
  14. IS there a difference between MS and MSN? DePaul is my second choice.
  15. Well that’s good you find out soon! @springy61 what other schools are you looking at?
  16. Thank you! This is very helpful information! Best of luck on your second term and beyond!!
  17. Very. Trying to keep myself occupied.
  18. Where are you from @bbysoph? I imagine it is going to be 2 weeks of hell for me until I know if accepted or not. I basically have no life and the thought of going back to school really excites me. I have placed an hold on a HEDIS review book so I can start preparing for that whether or not I get in. Oh well, back to hanging out with my animals in the meanwhile...?
  19. I think 70 or so into the waitlist.
  20. I definitely wonder how they choose who they admit and I also wonder how many of the 250 people actually want to go to Rush and/or how many people actually get interviewed. Not that this will ease my anxiety. I am convinced that not all schools work for all people and I think with my annoying hyper focused and un-shameless use of a school's resources I would be a good fit for Rush. I didn't quite get that sense for UIC. DePaul was a little to unorganized in being responsive to emails but small cohort size made it my second choice. What about you guys?
  21. Dr. Rodts interviewed me.
  22. I wish I had tips to share! I have applied to DePaul, Rush and UIC. I wish I would have known about the Elmherst program but strangely it never came up on my searches.
  23. I felt the SAME way! I believe we should all be notified on March 8th about whether we are accepted or not and as I mentioned before if you don’t get in the program, they can give you feedback as to why. Thats a bummer they asked different questions. I keep going over the interview in my head over and over and that’s what I remember ? @springy61 maybe we are being too hard on ourself and did get fine! What semester did you apply for DePaul?
  24. Good luck to all with the interviews! Would love to hear how it went. For those who have finished, how did it go, what other schools are you applying to? I don't know how I am going to pass the time waiting until March 8th....
  25. Oh and something about how Rush values diversity so how would you contribute to that?
