FNP Duke, BSN- MSN/DNP Fall 2019
Nope. I stopped looking and figure it will show up whenever it shows up. It’s driving me crazy but I’m trying to stay busy.

New grad: I've failed at my first two RN jobs
I feel for you. Finding the right job can be hard. But once you find it, you will love it! I would definitely go the clinic route or to a smaller hospital. You need patients that are not terribly complex. I understand that most places are understaffed and I remember being a new grad... those were rough rough rough days. I'm pretty sure I cried on my way to work, throughout my shift, and on the way home for a solid 6 months. I hope you find something soon that is the perfect fit for you!

Are O2 sats a vital sign?
Absolutely considered a VS. The doctor can specify if they want it checked more frequently than other VS, or if they want it continuous... but everyone absolutely gets it checked with all other VS. Also, nursing staff checks the O2sat, not respiratory therapy, as a general rule of thumb.

FNP Duke, BSN- MSN/DNP Fall 2019
I did just finish my interview this morning. Mine was maybe a total of 30 minutes. Mostly situational questions, some real and some hypothetical. The interviewer said he would guess that decisions will go out in about a month, maybe a little sooner or maybe a little later. I am applying for the merit scholarship, I don't know why anybody wouldn't apply and at least give it a try.

FNP Duke, BSN- MSN/DNP Fall 2019
I applied to the pediatric primary care NP program (BSN-MSN). I haven't heard anything yet, either.
