  1. Has anyone who hasn't heard back post phase 2 reached out to faculty yet regarding decisions? Wondering if I should email to see if they've made a decision yet or if they were just going to ghost us LOL.
  2. interviewed in December for phase 2, still haven't heard anything on my end either. I'm assuming all their easy yeses heard back right away and everyone else is a potential yes/waitlist (or rejection) that they'll send out after all interviews are done!
  3. Also heard that in previous years some people had to wait until end of January/early February for an acceptance whereas others heard back right away in November/December
  4. Did anyone else hear back yet regarding decisions post second round interviews? Either acceptance, rejection, or waitlist? Haven't heard anything yet on my end, wasn't sure if it was because of the holidays or not!
  5. congrats to those of you who already received acceptances! does anyone mind sharing how in depth the critical care questions were in phase 2?
  6. I actually applied late in the cycle last year (mid January) and got phase 1 interviews only and was told to reapply this year as they had already filled all their spots, so I would recommend applying as early as possible! First interview is all EI, I haven't attended my 2nd one yet but was told it would be critical care questions and scenarios.
  7. Also interviewed last Thursday and haven't heard anything yet. They did tell me it could take up to two weeks to hear back so trying not to psych myself out!!
  8. Hi! Just trying to get a feel for how much RNs (not NPs) in NYC make anywhere in the cosmetic (plastics, dermatology, aesthetic, medspas) field, primarily outpatient/private practice. I have a friend from LA who was making 85k on paper but was bringing in 130 after bonuses/commission/perks. I also assume there would be more room for growth there as it's outpatient? I'm currently working in a PICU in a large hospital in NYC, making pretty good money but bonuses and raises aren't guaranteed (and are also only a few hundred dollars a year at best), not really many perks. Looking to leave bedside in a year or so and wanted to know what salaries/benefits were looking like for RNs before considering going derm NP route. Would really appreciate any input!
  9. Ok thanks so much!! Last question, haha sorry! Do you remember what exactly we have to buy (scrubs, equipment, etc) just so I know how much to allot?
  10. Thanks for the info!! I would only be working Saturdays from 8-4, based on your experience would that interfere with my studies? Also, how soon do you start clinicals?
  11. What was the class schedule like throughout the week, any possibility I can keep my part time job or would it be in my best interest to solely focus on the MDE program?
