  1. Just so you guys know, you are able to register for nursing student only classes if you’ve been accepted. You can email the BCIT nursing email or if there’s an email under the course # and they will refer you to someone to get approved.
  2. Congratulations! I was supposed to begin at the end of April at BCIT. We received a letter last Thursday from BCIT (April and September cohort) that our start times have been delayed. The April cohort begins in September 2020 and September cohort begins in January 2021 so I would assume your intake will be pushed to April 2021. I hope this helps! Hopefully they’ll let you guys know soon ??
  3. Just an FYI, we heard today that all terms are getting delayed (no Summer semester) due to COVID-19. This means that the April 2020 cohort is starting in September 2020 and the September 2020 cohort is starting in January 2021. Therefore, I would assume that your cohort will begin in April 2021.
  4. Hi everyone! Do you guys think it is needed to buy all of the required textbooks? If not, which do you recommend? I have the Google drive of the textbooks but I would like to buy a hardcopy version of the ones we use most often. As well, do you guys have any tips on how to prepare for April? Any topics I should study beforehand? Thank you!!
  5. I would ask in the April 2020 forum, you may get more responses!
  6. I’m not too sure about the shortlist email! I wouldn’t be surprised though if it’s staggered. I know the info after the quiz was done was staggered...everyone received their final status over a span of a couple weeks but they did know by the deadline date!
  7. I got accepted for the April 2020 cohort and I found out a week and a half after the quiz deadline (oct 16th). ? I think the process has became quicker since they’ve added the CASPer in! But yes, everyone knew their status by the end of the month...for us it was by oct 31st.
  8. I don't know about UBC but BCIT doesn't! I've taken mostly 3 courses each semester (one semester of 2 courses) and I was accepted into the April 2020 intake! Best of luck! ?
  9. I'm not sure when it will be for you guys but for the April 2020 intake, those who were shortlisted were notified on September 19th. I believe we wrote the CASPer at the end of July (can't quite remember)? So about a month and a half - 2 months after? Hopefully you hear soon! Best of luck! ?
  10. Yes!! That’s it?
  11. It should be!? I’ll double check!
  12. I’ve created an FB group! BCIT Nursing April 2020 ?
  13. Yay congrats!! Should we make a fb group?!
