  1. I used to work for Atrium back in the day as a CNA, when I reached out to my old unit manager she said had I not reached out their unit wouldn’t have considered my application because they do not hire out of state. They tend to mostly hire from their affiliated schools. I am sure it differs with units. I am out of state and just last night I received the email from Novant to interview but I’ve already accepted a position at Atrium.
  2. I am too (and nervous)! I think all the critical care peeps start together, I can’t wait to meet you. ?
  3. I accepted a position in the STICU! You? ?
  4. I’m sure you can ask a nurse recruiter!
  5. Just FYI, I just received an invitation to interview for Novant. So for those of you still waiting, keep your eyes open.
  6. Yay! Congrats! I also accepted an offer to Atrium Heath ?
  7. ?...that’s fine. I think they hire a lot from their affiliated schools. I’ve heard some nurse managers don’t even consider out of state. So we’ll see how it goes.
  8. Yeah same here. Atrium under consideration. Novant application received. ??‍♀️ oh well. LOL
  9. Interesting, oh well LOL whatever will be will be. good luck on your interview! Let us know how it goes ??
  10. I’m confused as well, I got the same. ??‍♀️
  11. Oh I missed that part, so hopefully the status of my application will change between now and then.
  12. I’ll wait a week or two, if I don’t see a change I’ll hit them up.
  13. I applied 12/22 and I wonder if I should reach out...
  14. Mine still says application received ?
  15. "Note: If you are a New Graduate RN and miss the deadline to apply, please email us at [email protected] so we may connect with you." That is from their website
  16. ? I think the one that closed is for ppl graduating Spring 2021. I would email them, they have an email address there if you missed the deadline.
  17. So @Janaihill01 sent me a copy of a ppt that Atrium put out for new grads for the Spring 2021 application for her school...according to this: "acute care, continuing care, LCI, skilled nursing, hospice, home care $27/hr" "ambulatory setting $23.06/hr" "shift differentials $4/weekday nights, $3/weekend days, $7/ weekend nights" I kind wish this ppt was posted somewhere on their website tbh and also that NH was a little more open to their rates. Other than what was posted here, were you able to figure out what NH going rates are?
  18. I have application received for Novant and under consideration for Atrium. I submitted atrium in early December.
  19. It was my first time sending a pm on here. I clicked your name and then the little envelope. ? I’m glad it worked.
  20. You’re applying everywhere, so smart! I did my OB rotation at UMMC, loved it there. and yes, I was on that zoom call. I’ll send you a pm. ?
  21. Hey! I also applied to the new grad residency at Atrium. I'll be moving from MD if I get this job. : Is there any way you can e-mail me the ppt? ? Did anyone apply to Novant too?
  22. School scrub top and bottom and white tennis shoes. They are not very picky.
  23. I can't really speak for the Baltimore campus, I think our curriculums are slightly different. From my experience at the Shady Grove campus (which like I mentioned above I think has a different curriculum), pathophys shouldn't be too heavy especially taken with one other course. No comment on 410 bc I am taking that in the Fall.
  24. I didn’t. I had classmates that worked first semester and end up either dropping hours or quitting during their second semester, which is very demanding.
  25. Hey all, First of all CONGRATS! I am moving on to my 3rd semester in the Fall. I am a student at the Shady Grove campus. Just wanted to give you all a heads up about the technology requirements...it says you need a Windows capable computer but I've been using my Macbook since my first semester without any issues. You will not be able to take your exams on a Chromebook though. Also, don't hesitate to hit me up with any questions.
