  1. I read this as a male RESIDENT (physician-in-training) and was totally shocked until I figured out it was another resident in the facility!! ?
  2. I took both A&Ps in 6-week Summer sessions and loved it. It's full time but if you are dedicated, I would recommend the 8 week classes. That being said, you should still be able to get a 60 on the TEAS without having taken both if you are studying.
  3. Diana, If you are already an RN than wouldn't you skip the first year that is the equivalent of a BSN? You can't do that year remotely, so it doesn't sound like you are really even in the program. If you were already a nurse you would have gone direct entry into the specialty portion of your MSN.
  4. Congratulations @KerrieRN! I got accepted as well!
  5. Accepted for WHNP! I'm speechless! Anyone else in WH? @sassysd7 I couldn't see the image you posted for the whnp facebook, can you send a link?
  6. My app was verified in nursingcas on Jan. 24. I imagine the interviews will be going on for a while because they only started yesterday, so I'm sure you still have plenty of time! Good luck to you!!
  7. Was anyone else here offered an interview or heard anything from admissions? I am dying to hear back from the programs I applied to!
  8. I got one! Interview is tomorrow! ?
  9. Congratulations @jaycimarie! I was denied for CNS. Not a shock after receiving the Leads/waitlist offer a few weeks ago, but still disappointing. For any future applicants who are curious, my stats are below. GRE- 159/153 GPA- 3.4 undergrad, 4.0 prerequisites Good career experience but no healthcare experience, and I don't think my interview was great. I was very nervous! Good luck to everyone else, whatever path you end up taking!
  10. Hi Ikatbi, I don't think there is a submit button. If your documents say 'received', you should be good! All of mine are received except the official transcripts, because the website said they don't need those until you are accepted. Hope that helps!
  11. Hey everyone! This thread is kind of sleepy but I just submitted my application for Duke ABSN fall 2019. Lots of essays but now we can relax and wait. Good luck to everyone!
  12. Congratulations on the interview Joey! So exciting! For those asking about the fingerprinting, I got my interview request BEFORE I went to the DPS, so it was just a coincidence that they happened the same day. Tracy's email said it has to be done by 12/31, so you should be able to wait and see if you at least have an interview offer before you schedule it. I would contact Tracy if you don't think you'll be able to complete it before then. Good luck everyone.
  13. Thank you Angela! The interview is December 14th. I applied for the CNS track. Has anyone else heard anything back yet??
  14. Hey everyone! I did my fingerprinting today and got an email from Tracy offering to schedule an interview!! I'm over the moon. I am applying to ABSN programs in Texas plus a few other direct entry MSN programs. This is the first application I have received any feedback from yet so I'm feeling really happy today.
