  1. @NurseNR2B1204 I would definitely go with CSU San Marcos. National University's nursing program is very unorganized. The only pro about NU is that you will be done in 22 months and you are only learning one subject at a time. I have so many cons about the program. They brought in new professors, some don't teach and get off topic, clinical experience at the school is terrible, etc..Good luck on deciding ?
  2. Hi! I am in the same boat as you. Did it count as failure and you have to wait the 45 days?
  3. Thank you! I received a 3.75 on my essay (not a good grade in my case). However, that time I applied to cohort 58 was with a TEAS grade of 87.3% and a 3.65 GPA. The overall points were 85.99. This time I applied with an 89.3 TEAS score and from where I stood with my previous essay and 3.65 GPA, my points were 86.79, but Elizabeth was going to use my highest essay grade. I believe there was one more denied student from cohort 58 that was going to be accepted as well. I know it’s a waiting game, but I know everyone is going to fulfill their dreaming of becoming a nurse.
  4. Good luck to cohort 59! I got an email today saying there were two spots for cohort 58. I won’t be starting anymore with cohort 59 because I accepted 58. I will be starting this April. So much luck to all of you!!! ❤️
  5. Yes, I did. Was I indecisive? Yes. Am I stressing out? A little. Should I have waited for cohort 60? Maybe. I took a leap of faith and whatever happens, happens. If this door closes there is always next time and there are still other great colleges. We are all going to reach our goal no matter what. Good luck to everyone! ?❤️
  6. Second time. I missed the cutoff from the previous cohort. However, my points have surpassed cohort 58.
  7. The bad thing is that we don't know what essay we will be getting.
  8. I don't mind at all. I have a 3.6 GPA and an 89.3% on my TEAS. If I do continue with my process for cohort 59, I will be retaking my TEAS and I will try to aim in the 90's. Yes, the essays weigh a lot in the points. They told me to take the essay very seriously.

  10. See, you have a high chance of getting into the program. The essays are scored out of 5. Was this your first time taking the essay and TEAS? I might defer to cohort 60. I am not too sure about my TEAS and GPA score. I have until midnight to make up my mind before my test date.
  11. Hirayah, do not freak out. You have two more attempts if this is your first attempt. If you don't mind me asking, what is your GPA and TEAS score? You will be fine!
  12. She said before Christmas or first week of January
  13. Only 40 students are accepted into the program and there are only 10 alternate spots.
