  2. Crickets in my inbox....anybody else how there who hasn't heard anything? Congrats who got interviews, you're one step closer ?
  3. Has anyone got an update about Womens Health Track?
  4. It's so weird! I received an email notification that they received my application and of course, got the first interview, I'll let you know if I hear anything. I simply asked the interviewer if they will reach out via email or via the applicant portal for second interview notifications and also to make sure I didn't miss anything. Just curious, but does anyone know the answer to this?
  5. @ptreebranchthank u so much for responding btw! so grateful for any help on this issue
  6. I did do that and it doesn't say anything. I had my first interview the other day, and it worries me that I can't see my application. I filled out my profile, uploaded resume, and CV. I contacted the person who held the interviews cause I don't know who else to contact. Does anyone else have possibly another person to contact? This is so weird!
  7. Hi there, I applied to the women's track only, I am really confused about how to log back onto my account to see if my application is under review. Would any of you kind of humans help me in troubleshooting this issue?
  8. Hi California nurses/anyone, I am currently a nursing student in Washington, I will be graduating in August 2021. I am still a CA resident and planning going back to CA to be a nurse. I am trying to see if anyone knows if its better to take my NCLEX in Washington and then transfer my license to CA or just take my NCLEX into California? I am wondering how long this process takes, I know that CA is notorious for taking a long time, I just want to see how many months and what path is easier/shorter time. I was on hold for 1.5 hours today with NCLEX CA to get more information (eventually hung up) because there is not enough information on their website. Thank you for any help or suggestions about this topic!
  9. Hey just got postbacc admissions decision today, I am going to accept their offer. However, I hope that with those decisions being out that it brings some movement and clarity for the waitlist. Sending you the best! If there is anyone that doesn’t get in this round or is applying this coming year, please feel free to reach out and happy to give you my thoughts/support for the admissions process.
  10. Sorry any confusion, to clarify my previous comment: I contacted admissions to see when they would be releasing UW admissions decisions for postbacc applicants for the accepted students for the absn program. They were hoping to get decisions out by the end of this week (which didn’t happen). Maybe next week? hopefully once those admissions decisions come out there will be more movement on the WL, best of luck to everyone!
  11. I emailed an admissions person they said they are hoping to get an absn decisions out by the end of this week for people who have been accepted. I am not sure how or if it relates to the WL. best of luck!
  12. Does anyone know from previous years when we find out out about official admissions for ABSN student? I know they say May and June, I guess it’s just so vague LOL. Getting A little antsy!
  13. https://www.facebook.com/groups/913581862440470/?ref=share Link Above is for the UW ABSN 2020-2021 cohort facebook group. Looking forward to connecting with you soon!
  14. @dtsunrise93 I have not seen a UW ABSN facebook group yet, only for 2019-2020 cohort I saw. I jus made one cause I noticed that there wasn't one made yet. I hope that is OK? Here is the link if anyone wants to join and chat about the upcoming cohort or plans or just getting to know one another! :) https://www.facebook.com/groups/913581862440470/
  15. Hey, Does anyone know the exact date we are suppose to find out about UW Admissions? I’m coming from the Bay Area and have been trying to make plans on when/where to move this Summer. Makes me feel uneasy we haven’t just been admitted yet .Also, does anyone have any input if you have heard from admissions or SoN if COVID-19 has changed anything (start date, clinicals, etc.)? Also if you are an accepted app/waitlist for the 2020 ABSN starting in the fall, would anyone would like to do a zoom call and do a little meet and greet? Sending y’all the best!
  16. Sending good vibes to that waitlist for you! ?
  17. @kangarooThank you so much for this information! I really appreciate it! See you in the fall!
  18. Hi Friends, I am accepted ABSN applicant. I had some big life events happen which prevented me from turning in my postbacc on time, however, I was able to get an extension (UW has been super accommodating btw). I just recently turned in my application, does office of Admissions send you a UW ID to be able to start a UW account? Any information about this process is much appreciated. Thank you! I will be moving from the Bay Area to attend in the Fall, is anyone else moving from out of state? ? Looking forward to meeting you all!
  19. My piece advice is to BREATH, be calm and chill for this couple days. Yes, it is easier said then done. I get it, I was a nervous wreck on Wednesday. But I made sure to get some good sleep, eat, and drink water. This all seems pretty obvious but I was so in my head and trying to perfectly answer all these questions when practicing that I forget about me and my well being in the process. But I realized I have all the answers, they lie within. My recommendation for the night before is go over the answers outloud one more time all the way through either with a friend or in the mirror. Then put it away. Take a nice long shower/bath, maybe just sit in silence for a couple minutes, make urself some sleepy time tea, do something that makes you feel good about yourself, lay your clothes out for the next day, and in the morning just be kind to yourself. I went to yoga, had a little breakfast, mindfully just got ready and just breathed. Listened to calm music on the way there. If you have been practicing for the last couple weeks and you know what you wanna say, then you’re good, and your true self and passion will flow right now. The interview was not bad, trust me. You’re gonna do great, you’re gonna feel great if your kind to yourself and they will see that. Sending you calming thoughts and feelings everyone.
  20. My community was not from my speciality (CNM/WHNP). Mine was an FNP so just be prepared that they might not be from your speciality. Best of luck everything, you'll do great. Breath, seriously, breath.
  21. Thank you so much for your words of wisdom. I cried reading the post tbh. It means so much hope to do the same for those applying next year.
  22. @lamberd Thank you so much for this information, seriously helps so much. I hope everyone has a restful holiday season. Blessings!
  23. Hey everyone, thanks for your interest in my previous post. Just want to let you know that I am so open to helping anyone with this application process. If you are wanting to see my goal statement I can send that information out once I have gone through the interview process and found out my outcome. I just want to make sure my story, goals, and blood sweat and tears are being carefully handled. Thanks for your interest! And Manifest your dreams of achieving, it works. You can do this. All the best!
  24. @NMtobe yes! Congrats to you!!! I interview January 24th. Hope to see you there and give one another a supportive hug lol! Feeling the blessings and hard hard work paying off. My stomach has been in knots for days every time my phone buzzes
