Getting ready to turn in my application.

I am re-applying for 80.5 points this time.

I should have been more specific. I called twice, once last week, once beginning of this week.

I called twice and they said emails will be sent out by today.

I called the nursing dept and the person told me maybe wednesday, but before 30th for sure. Anyone have any new info on when we'll be getting emails?

Were you on the alternate list and which number out of 20?

I posted that I had 73 points being #18 out of 20 alternate, but that was an estimate. I suppose I had way more points than I estimated.

18th out of 20 on the alternate list with 73 points. Can anyone explain what exactly an alternate means? Am I considered for the application cycle or am I just possibly replacing students who turn down their acceptance?

Mometrix guide. Avoid "Trivium" brand study guides. They have too many errors. I also recommend TEAS Pocket Prep app.

Just called and staff told me half of the letters were mailed out and by tomorrow all of them will be mailed out.

Mometrix is excellent. Avoid the "Trivium" brand TEAS study guide. I found more than 5 blatant errors in the reading and science sections.

Make sure you study hard for the TEAS and score above a 90%. Also be a first generation college student, low income amputee veteran, who speaks a second language. I feel discouraged because people applying to Cypress College last cycle who had 30/30 application points were getting put on the alternate list.
