  1. Hey that’s so cool! I’m also interviewing on this floor!!!
  2. Hey all! I am graduating in May 2020, and I was wondering when is the best time to apply? I was going to turn in my application today but the prompt asks me if I graduated. The only answer choices were YES and NO and didn't really know what to put Thank you in advance!
  3. Hi. I think it's a requirement for all NC univs to get a record of highschool transcripts of all their students
  4. Hi again!!! I checked the mail and I got in!! See you at the orientation! Good luck again to those who are still waiting!
  5. That's what I was just thinking. LOL Hopefully not! Would you also mind sharing your stats?
  6. Wow! You are indeed a very competent applicant. You definitely deserve the spot! As for me, I don't really know what decision to expect, tbh. This is my second time applying to UNC. I applied to the traditional BSN program that started in the fall 2018 but unfortunately got rejected (i have not completed all the prereqs then). I'm from the Philippines where I earned my BS degree in Pyschology. My undergrad GPA is 2.95 which is really low. But I started taking the prereqs immediately when I moved here last year. So far, my prereq GPA is 4.0 which can hopefully pull up my cumulative GPA. I don't really have a lot of experience in the medical field. I worked as an English as Second Language (ESL) teacher for Korean students for 2 years in the Philippines. I started volunteering at the Women's Birth and Wellness Center at Chapel Hill (did this for 4 months), and the Belk Boutique in Duke Cancer Center (still doing it) last year to somehow get an exposure. After getting denied from the BSN program, I continued with the completion of the prereqs, and I participated in an honors project to further boost my application. I also finished the nurse aide I course, and will have my skills test on October 26th. (I tried applying to NCAT's ABSN, and CNA I listing is one of their prerequisites, but it went terribly because I wasn't aware of the required interview so I missed it!!!) Right now, I'm working part-time as a server while I continue taking more subjects to be able to apply to other schools if I don't get in UNC. Anyway... I'm just really hoping for the best. It is what it is! Good luck to all of us that are still waiting!!
  7. Congratulations!! Do you mind sharing your stats? Thank you!
  8. I live in Carrboro but I have not received any mail yet! This is so scaryyy.
  9. Hello everyone! I called yesterday to ask, and they said that letters will be sent out next week! It's making me sooo nervous! Anyway, do y'all mind sharing your stats?
