  1. Hey Madison! I did get in and I was number 15. I think they accepted 16 or 17 off the list that semester. They will let you know how many are on the list at orientation and what spot you are. Not everyone ahead of me accepted their spot and supposedly that always happens up to the last minute. I didn't find out until the week before Christmas and it was torture, but its different each semester. The reason it took them so long my semester was bc they were short clinical instructors and were trying to hire a new one. Also, there will be students that were accepted that will decide to not be in the program so that will move the alternate list too. I believe the semester before me the entire alternate list got a spot and it was like 40 students. I believe they really try to get the alternates in if they have the room. You will love the program! Its tough, but well organized and you will love most of the instructors:). Hang in there!
  2. Hey everyone! Hang in there. I started last Spring and we didn't get notified until mid October. We did have accreditation people all last week in our classes... so that was probably the hold up! I think we had orientation the last week of October so you should be hearing something soon!
  3. I got on the Spring 2019 alternate list without my A&p 2 points and was accepted! So hang in there!
  4. hmmm. I wonder what that means...They're closed tomorrow, so it sounds like it will be pushed well into next week.
  5. so frustrating...I don't understand the hold up!
  6. I went by the nursing office yesterday as they were packing up for the day and they said that they are making calls today! They have had a few accepted students decline spots and 3 alternates decline spots. 2 of which are ahead of me on the list:) There is hope it will start moving soon!
  7. Now there's 55 registered. They technically have until the first day of class to register, so its really not a good indication of how many accepted the spot...
  8. yea its up to 49 now. I'm sure there are some that just haven't registered yet. A friend of mine didn't do it until late last night. They are already assigned a section, its just a matter of them registering for it. Hopefully the number is close to accurate! I wonder how long they have to sign up?!
  9. If you get the blackboard app and turn on your notifications it will notify you when they post anything so you don't have to keep checking the page!
  10. Yes, she said it would be at least the end of the week, if then... I'm sure they have to confirm people and number of spots before they start going down the list.
  11. Just a heads up - they had the makeup orientation this past Friday, so they said maybe by the end of this week the list will start moving:)
  12. lol I was worried too... I emailed Ms Watkins a couple of days ago and she said they had some other pressing priorities to take care of and thanks for being patient. I know the other lady told me at orientation that it would be well into November before they even started going to the list. She even said it may be after Thanksgiving...I'm assuming they have to confirm the number of spots available for clinical and how many are returning. I've been going down that list of all the things for CastleBranch and getting most of that done, so at least I'm kinda prepared if we get notification. It stinks being patient! haha
  13. There were 11 folders in the box for people that didn't show up to orientation, so hopefully those people aren't accepting their spot. They do still have a chance to accept though - even though it was mandatory...Don't know if those were alternates or accepted, but at least that should change the number some too! Ms. Watkins did email me after orientation and said to remain hopeful for acceptance.
  14. That's great news!
