BSN student here. Classes and clinicals have been cancelled for me for at least 3 weeks (who knows what they will decide after that). I'm really nervous we won't be able to graduate on time since we are missing so many clinicals. We have 3 clinical days a week right so that's going to be really hard to reschedule.

Hey I did too! interviewed yesterday at both and was extended an offer at both. I was offered 12 Tower (med surg) at Centennial and neuro ICU at Skyline. I'm so excited! What units did they offer to you? CONGRATS!

That's an interesting topic. I worked in a 172 bed hospital and we had 40 adult ER beds and 10 pets ER beds. Maybe Centennial's volume is mostly surgical admits?

Really? That really makes me feel like not going to the interviews. I think its rude and unprofessional to make us travel to Nashville and not even tell us what units are open. I'll have to see what I do.

Congrats! I was also waitlisted. I put peds critical care and adult critical care as my other 2 options so we'll see what happens.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm kinda thinking I played myself by putting NICU as my first option. I didn't realize it would be so popular. But I'm still hoping!

How did you find out the floors for Skyline? I asked Vanessa Moeller but wasn't told what floors the interviews were for. I'm okay with ER though.

I had to go back to my application but yes it turns out I did pick preferences. Nursing school is taking a toll on my brain! ? How do you know what units they are interviewing for? I asked when I was initially offered the interview and they didn't say anything except that my top three tracks will be considered. I chose NICU, ICU, and ER. I was reading the 2018 forum as well and I'm getting a bit nervous. It looked like several people were offered med sure jobs even though it wasn't one of their listed preferences.

Also, when you applied did you pick your preferences? I can't remember doing that but I applied a while ago so maybe I just forgot about it. haha
