  1. I was offered an interview for the CVICU yesterday morning. CONGRATS everyone! ?
  2. Yes they will calculate only the last 60 hours you’ve had. No worries! You’re going be fine ?
  3. I don’t know who you are, but you’re literally speaking my life right now ? I feel your pain , I feel your worry. I’m an A - B student and I’ve never had to deal with failing a class. The embarrassment, the let down, and the confusion of it all is hitting me hard. So, same boat! I need a 78 on my final to pass. It’s those dablasted questions!!!!
  4. It has it’s pros and cons. I’m pretty happy with the program so far. It requires a lot of time outside of school to study and prepare for tests, open labs, etc. So, while it is rigorous, its nice when you can complete a group of 3-4 hr courses in 7 or 8 weeks.
  5. Somewhat. I knew what the 1st half of classes were going to be more in advance than the second part of the semester. Other cohorts have said after the 2nd term your on campus maybe 1-2 days a week and the rest is spent in clinical settings.
  6. It’s rigorous, but fun! It really depends on what lab times you get picked for, it’s completely random. On Wed I got the 8-12 slot others got the 1-5 slot. You don’t have a say in what you get. Monday and Friday we are there from 8-4:00(M) and 8-3:30(F) Tuesday is 8-12 and Thursday is 8-11. The schedule stays the same pretty much the rest of the semester until you do “check offs” for certain classes. Then you might have to be there at any point between 8-4ish I think.
  7. Our first half of the semester: Patho: M/W 12:30-3:00 Pharm: F 8:00-11:00 NUR-online course Nur-online course The 2nd half of the semester we are there everyday. Sometimes til 5pm and sometimes just til 11am.
  8. First off, congrats!!!! That’s a HUGE accomplishment. This post has helped me so much. I’ve been going in between MSN-NP or DNP-CRNA. I just happened to see this post yesterday and your story really grabbed my attention. I’ll be graduating with my BSN next Dec. from Union University. I’ve been focusing on getting ICU experience as an RN or NP (obviously after a masters degree) then moving on to CRNA. Also, I live about 15 mins away from MTSA. That’s where I’ve looked into going, it makes the most sense. Your study guide and advice has been more than helpful, thanks for sharing. I hope you still post updates as you go along! I was ecstatic to find this post and then saw you were in the Nashville area as well!!! Any advice from you is completely welcomed my way. Best of luck to you and again, congrats! ?
  9. Thanks for the input? that was immensely helpful. Good luck on your end too. I really appreciate the feedback and we will be seeing you soon! Feel free to add as much advice as you like, we can all use it. Again, thank you!!!!
  10. God is good. You are going to do great!
  11. You’re in! Congrats on being accepted ?
  12. The link should be on the page now as a post. Here it is: https://m.facebook.com/groups/403094890250791?ref=bookmarks
  13. Let me work on that when I get back home, thanks for letting me know!
  14. Congrats!!! Come join in on our Facebook group: Union University BSNA Fall 2019 Hendersonville Cohort 16. If you’d like. Congrats again on your success ? I’m very excited to start the program.
  15. According to their website, “Graduates have excellent NCLEX-RN pass rates for the BSN program and enjoy 100% job placement.” https://www.uu.edu/academics/schools/nursing/
  16. Congrats!!!! From what I understand, the program is broken up into weeks (per class) over a 15 month course. Expect to be on campus Monday-Friday at least 3-4 hours a day at s minimum. Max hours could be as long as 8 if you include sim labs and/or clinical. It will vary from class to class and semester. I do have the 2019 Fall schedule if you’d like it. ? Congrats again, you’re going to do great!!! I started a Facebook page where all of us can connect if you’d like to check it out. Union University BSNA Fall 2019 Hendersonville Cohort 16.
  17. Anyone who has accepted a seat can join the Facebook group “Union University BSNA Fall 2019 Hendersonville Cohort 16” just a common place to connect and build community with each other ☺️
  18. Anyone who has accepted a seat can join the Facebook group “Union University BSNA Fall 2019 Hendersonville Cohort 16” just a common place to connect and build community with each other ?
  19. That’s so awesome! I’m so excited for you ?
  20. I think it took a few days after I applied to get an email asking to accept a seat and pay a non-refundable $600 to hold my seat. As far as Nursing CAS... they have taken months to weeks to verify. All depending on when their “window” of verification falls, make sure you get all coursework grades submitted before their cutoff dates. Otherwise, they won’t verify til their next academic “window.” My last 60 hrs ended being a 3.6 at least. Everything is going to work out and you’re going to do great. I’ll be praying for you ?
  21. I’ve been accepted into the program in Hendersonville, TN for Fall 2019. I also posted a forum with questions ? I have so many! Prayers go out to those who have applied ?
  22. I’ve been accepted into the BSNA program on the Hendersonville campus. Does anyone have any experience with how tuition works for the 15 month school “year” and out of pocket costs look like? I was also curious about average days and hours and what that might look like. Any input on this program is appreciated. God Bless!
