I am actually very similar to you in that I don't really have a specific department I am prioritizing at the moment, and flexibility with a supportive organization sounds really good right now. As well as building that first-year experience like you mentioned! This might be a shot in the dark but are you located in OR by chance? The agency you work for sounds soo similar to the one that I am in communication with! (Nursing*le) There's not that much information regarding the reviews or job outlook for this small agency so I would love to pick your brain if it coincidentally happens to be the same one you're loving! Hi there, This post caught my eye because it sounded exactly like my concerns and situation. Did you accept this job offer by chance? I just got the offer to join the residency program and am really not sure how to feel about it since home health was never really on my radar until hospital residencies were nearly impossible to get into. I look forward to hearing your thoughts!

@Igotinlastyear I know each academic calendar year is slightly different, but can you tell me if November was a hectic month for you? I am trying to plan a wedding (as if I didn't have enough to take on this year) a weekend in November and praying that it won't be at the worst time possible. If not, could you tell me a month that was possibly a "slower" time in the program?

Response: "The UA website will provide just the basic sizes. However if you are interested in more specific sizes you can order them directly from me. Please let me know which sizes are needed and I will order them. If you have additional questions please do not hesitate to reach out. Thank you" They did not confirm or decline the part where I asked about ordering outside of the bookstore. But looks like you can email Lamond Wright about specific inseam sizes. Hope this helps!

Yea, I am wanting just the standard equipment, nothing fancy-- in agreement with your point. I found some bottoms on amazon that offer in the different lengths (tall) and was hoping to be able to get them that way. I emailed the bookstore inquiring if that was okay so I will see what they say and update on here. And "90% sandpaper", lol. They looked pretty stiff in the pictures, not gonna lie! Maybe I'll go and try some on at a scrub store too to better gauge my size. Thanks for your response!

Hello! I have been a bit MIA with work and am trying to catch up with all of the tasks required before classes begin. In regards to the uniform and equipment, has anyone ordered the stethoscope w/ diaphragm bell, blood pressure cuff and penlight from sources other than the bookstore? If so, could you tell me what details you looked for in purchasing? (The bookstore also had different options and I was unsure which one to go with.) Did anyone order more than 1 set (top and bottom) of the uniform pieces? Did anyone find cuts slightly different from the 2 options we were provided and were they acceptable? Sorry so many Q's and if they were answered prior, I didn't seem to find these answers on here or on the fb group page. Thanks and hope everyone is having a great day!

aqtagaban Wow, thank you for collecting and posting this information! It was definitely insightful. :) I've got to take my HESI again, but I am just curious; does it cost $111? I took it back in April and I don't recall paying that much for it. Did the price go up or is that the correct fee?

Hi there! I'm following this thread since I too, am applying in the next couple of months. I would like to know where the applicants stand with GPA's and HESI scores, too. I took the HESI and got a 90 but am hoping to re-take it to try to up my score. I think the test itself is pretty straight forward and easy but it was good to take it once to get an idea of how it is structured. There are also books for the test you can purchase online that are pretty inexpensive. Not sure if they help or not though. I'm excited to follow this thread and hope to gain a lot of insight! Thanks for creating it.
