Mayo Clinic CRNA Interview 2019 Start
Hello- congratulations on getting an interview! I’ll reiterate following the instructions on the packet for the behavioral interview. Draw on your ICU experience and identify situations you’ve demonstrated those attributes. Most importantly; practice, practice, practice and get comfortable with interviews. Your goal for the interview is to prove that you’re more deserving of a spot than the next candidate. If you can accomplish that, your goal will then be to work as a team with your prospective cohort. Good luck!

Hey, i'm sorry to hear that. Your science GPA appears solid enough. Might not be a bad idea taking and getting A's in 1 or 2 grad science courses(patho, pharmacology, physiology) or stats. You just might need to show some grad school bona fides. More importantly, ask them what areas to work on. Don't lose hope if it's what you truly want.

Does anyone feel that their personal statement got them an interview?
Guess we can almost conclude that your personal statement won't matter much provided all other areas of your application stand out.

Totally agree. i do think a lot of emphasis seemingly is placed on "stats". But i understand, a less than stellar academic record will get you nowhere.

In addition to the title-question, any references by the interviewing committee member to what was written in one's personal statement? There appears to be hardly any threads regarding the importance of one's PS. Just curious!
