  1. Hey everyone! Good to see the forum is back up! Congratulations to everyone!!! I also got accepted into the April 2019 intake ? Can't wait to meet you all in the near future
  2. From my understanding, I'm pretty sure that comment was referring to accepted April applicants! By December 7th they have to confirm their seats and hopefully, if anyone declines the offer, the waitlist will hear about any spots opening up
  3. @cat19 They weigh your education (degree/number of credits) quite heavily during the ranking process and I believe 18 credits is the absolute bare minimum. When I talked to admissions last year, they strongly recommended applying with more credits and I realize now that I would've have had a slight chance with only 24 credits! Also, one of my friends recently applied with a phenomenal application in every aspect but then only had 33 credits so she was waitlisted because of that. Don't let it discourage you though - you'll never know unless you try!
  4. Hmm, yeah maybe. I thought the deadline to defer to April was mid-November so I'm surprised that no one has heard yet from the top 15. But knowing at least one person has dropped their seat for January is amazing news for whoever is #1 on the waitlist!
  5. Oh wow, that's pretty soon! Thanks for the info :)
  6. I have mine done as well but it would definitely be a good idea to have it completed sometime in December! Since none of us have been notified yet I'm starting to think maybe all of the January applicants paid their full tuition and decided to stay in that intake..
  7. I got this response to an email too! It made me feel super relieved hearing about our chances of getting in, so fingers crossed we all make it :) What did you apply with? And I'm assuming you applied to January?
  8. Yeah, me too... and then I had November 17th written down as the deadline to defer
  9. I really hope so too! They'll keep the April waitlist going until class starts, but at least we'll have time to apply for the September 2019 intake if we don't get accepted by February 15th. And good luck to you - let us know if you get an offer from the waitlist!
  10. What I got from their response was that perhaps the April class hasn't sent out all 64 acceptance letters yet? Maybe once the January class has started and there are no available seats to give out, they will give the remaining seats to those on the January waitlist, then reorganize any remaining waitlisted candidates to form an April waitlist. Does that kind of make sense? (This is all assuming that April does not currently have a waitlist or a full class!)
  11. Yes, it did! I'm a little confused though.. does that mean there is currently not a waitlist for April and that they'll be putting it together after the January class starts? It also isn't clear to me still whether or not the April class is full, if they still have to "finalize" it.
  12. Yeah, can anyone who got accepted into April share the start date? Also, any deadlines for deferring or paying tuition/commitment fee, please! It gives the waitlisted applicants some dates to hopefully hear a response by. :)
  13. Hey everyone, just an update for that email I sent out: If those on the January waitlist are not offered a seat for that intake, we will be considered for April. They will rank us against the waitlisted applicants for the April 2019 class, so we may be positioned differently from our current situation (top 15, top 50, etc). Not certain about whether or not April has a waitlist yet, as they will have everything finalized (class + waitlist) by February 15th. They also said that the number of offers given to waitlisted applicants has varied over the years, typically between 10-25.
  14. I'm really, really hoping that April isn't full because that would mean the January waitlist gets to fill the remaining seats! I wonder if we're allowed to ask at this point how many people applied/were shortlisted/were accepted for ONLY April. Are both intakes usually equal in their competition?
  15. I emailed them late last night asking whether all 64 seats were sent out for April, and if so, if there is also a separate waitlist for April. Still waiting on a response but will update as soon as I know!
