Hi y'all, I'm currently licensed in Texas as an FNP - I'm still looking for my first job and was wondering if I should wait until I have a job to obtain my DEA license? I was going through the DEA application and they are asking for my practice location which I do not have. Should I put my home address? I was talking to some of the NPs here and they said that you'd need a supervising physician in TX to obtain your DEA license. Any ideas? TIA!

Hi all, I currently hold an active TX APRN license - my husband and I are actually considering moving to Arizona. My question is -- how do I go about obtaining my AZ APRN license? Do I obtain my RN license in AZ first, then apply for APRN? I know AZ and TX are compact states for RNs. Since both are compact states, can I just go straight to applying for APRN in AZ? I can't claim residency in AZ because I don't have any job offers in AZ yet. I want to have my AZ license (RN & APRN) first prior to applying for jobs in AZ. Sorry if the post is confusing - I'm pretty confused in this matter too :( Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

Has anyone heard anything from the admission office regarding our pre-enrollment paperwork like background check, immunization, etc?

I have a BSN and I'm taking the BSN-DNP route and really want to know how long it would take me to complete if I do full-time. I looked on my Duke hub and it said that my expected graduation date would be Fall 2021 if I were to do full-time (including summer semesters). And yes, I booked my flight and hotel and was really eager to meet you all! I also wanted to talk to the financial aid department as well. I emailed Nora and she said that if there are any updates regarding this event, we will be notified.

Hi guys! Unfortunately due to the hurricane, the event was cancelled. I hope everyone is safe and hopefully I will get to meet you guys prior to our semester in Spring 2019! We should make a facebook page where we could all connect! Also, I was wondering if anyone knows the degree plan for BSN-DNP FNP program? I could not find it on Duke's website, they only have separate MSN and DNP degree plan but not BSN-DNP. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks y'all :)
