  1. I'm in! For newly admitted students, would we have to fill out the "onboarding day" google survey by December 12 as well along with the other forms? It says it was given to us for our planning, but I'm not sure if we have to submit anything on it... considering we have not yet been assigned. I am so scared to make a mistake and have my seat given away. Also! Anyone know if we need to maintain our 4.0/GPA throughout this round of finals or do we only need a C or higher?
  2. By chance, could someone who got the email copy and paste what the email had said regarding the new cutoff? I don't understand why it's potentially higher now... it just doesn't make sense judging by past semesters. Maybe it was a mistake made by the nursing school?
  3. Augustinam, nice to meet you virtually! :) I am also coming in with 70 points. I would like to assume that we are in good standing with the new criteria (as, if I remember correctly, 70 points would theoretically be equivalent to a 100 on the TEAS and a 4.0 GPA, not including any optional criteria). However, I've met plenty of students with a point total higher than 70, so I am not too sure how I feel about my chances for Sac State's nursing program. A bit odd- if the point cutoff is greater than a 70, it would seem that the optional criteria is not truly "optional," but rather necessary for admission. It really depends on Spring 2019's applicant pool... so it is definitely too soon to make any calls. I wish you good luck on your TEAS retake!
  4. Hello everyone! Just here to put down my stats for Spring 2019 as well. Hopefully I've calculated everything correctly. Total: 70 GPA: 40 TEAS: 20 (90.7) Health experience: 3 Bilingual exam: 3 No repeats: 2 No courses omitted: 2 I thought this score was solid enough, but looking at past influx of number of candidates, it's difficult to know right now, of course. It looks like everyone so far is around the 70s. Best of luck to everyone!
