  1. Hi @PittNurse2021 I applied back in November as well and had 3 interviews, the last one being with a nurse manager almost one month ago. How did your interview(s) go? I am wondering when they will notify us about our status. It seems like its been forever!!
  2. Hi! Congrats on your interview invite! Unfortunately, I live out of the area and had to Skype my interview. Mine took about 25 minutes and was not group interview, so I cannot speak for the group interview aspect. Just be yourself! Try to prepare for the questions, have go-to things to say and mention, and be relaxed! I'm not sure of anyone who has not been accepted, but try not to think about it! Be confident!
  3. One week after my interview, I received an email from Jefferson saying that they wanted to see my final fall grades (from fall 2018) before they made a decision. I think this is because I had physiology in progress and hadn't even taken microbiology yet. I got a notification on a Tuesday mid-January that my transcripts were received and about 9 days later received an acceptance later! Any updates with you? How was your interview?
  4. Hi Lauren, Good luck in your interview! I got accepted, and can offer some help... I got asked general questions about nursing: why do you want to be a nurse, what are some traits of a nurse, and overcoming an obstacle question. Then I had twenty minutes to complete some short answer questions. The interviewer was very nice, and I think it was evident I was so nervous!!! I don't remember much, but best of luck to you! Please let me know how it goes! Rooting for you!
  5. Hi everyone, Did you guys receive acceptance letters via mail or emails? Congrats to everyone!!!
  6. Hi everyone, Can I ask what your guys' stats were? Just curious! I hope to transfer in for fall 2019. And, for those who went, how did you like it? Thanks!
  7. Hi, Make sure you are double checking with the schools. Email a nursing admissions counselor so you get proof of their response in writing. Some may require "with an organic component". At my CA CC, I took Integrated and Applied Chemistry I (general chemistry) and Integrated and Applied Chemistry II (1/2 of the semester was organic chemistry and the other 1/2 was biochemistry). If you want to apply to UCLA, UC Irvine, or UNR, then you need to take general chemistry + organic chemistry. The most important thing you could do for yourself is to ask someone from the other school. Send your course name, course number, and course description. Good luck! I loved organic chemistry/biochemistry.
  8. Has anyone started/submitted their application to Thomas Jefferson University for its prelicensure BSN program? My application has been accepted for a few weeks now and I am waiting to hear back. I am just wondering if anyone knows how long it takes? Also trying to get a feel for how many people apply/the applicant statistics? Thanks everyone.
