  1. Any nyc nurses who have worked for Lincoln or Long Island Jewish - forest hills ? I got an offer at both for ED. Any opinions ?
  2. Hey! Need advice! just got offered a job at NYU cobble hill -ED. This would be my first time traveling. Has anyone had any experience with this hospital and/or advice for a first time traveler ? Thanks!
  3. I got the assessment as well! Good luck guys!
  4. Ok that's kinda of what I thought! Just wanted to see what others were doing to be sure! Thanks for explaining it simply! lol
  5. Can someone guide me on this essay question? "Describe ways you are able to show others you care about them, yet do not compromise other people's needs and requirements." I am having trouble understanding it. It's written a bit strange to me. lol any input would be greatly appreciated!
  6. Hey! I have lived in Gainesville for quite awhile it's much smaller than Jax and is mostly made up of college students. So I think it's a great place for school. I've always felt safe here. I've been to Jax many times and have family there. It's very large and spread out and like any big city it will have more crime but I've never had any issues there but then again I don't go into the bad parts of town lol. I'm applying to both campuses. I hope to get into the Gainesville campus mostly because I live here but if I get into the Jax campus, I'm going to take it. You just have to make sure You rent in a decent area and you should be fine. So I wouldn't worry too much! When we find out if we got in or not I'm sure people will be discussing where they will be living and other things like that! :)
  7. I emailed Kenneth today about The letters of recommendation. I have one from a doctor I worked with and one from the director of a place I volunteered at. He told me that those were acceptable for the letters of recommendation!
  8. Yes it helps a lot! Thanks so much guys! I just wanted to make sure I was doing it right! :)
  9. Hey guys! So this transcript thing is confusing me. Are you just uploading your unofficial on Nursingcas? or are you sending your unoffical to Nursingcas by mail? I contacted Kenneth Wynn and he said to send the unofficial transcript only to Nursingcas but Nursingcas told me to just upload it! So I'm a bit lost and wanted to see what everyone else is doing! Thanks! :)
  10. Looks like the application is up on nursingcas!
  11. Hey! I already sent that app in a few days before the nursingcas app was supposed to open. So I hope that's ok!
  12. Hey! I contacted Kenneth Wynn about the application. This was his response. Good Morning, It will be open within a few weeks. We ask for your patience at this time. Thanks for the inquiry. Hopefully it will be up soon!
  13. No I have not been able to access it either! I just logged into NursingCAS and could not find the ABSN option.
