No, I did not receive the letter from UNC today either. I am still waiting. Hopefully, tomorrow I will hear some good news. Let me know if anyone receives any good news.

Hi gcfo, I received my bachlor's degree in English literature and biochemistry minor. Also, I have a master's degree in Public Administration. I worked in healthcare industry for 6+ years for profit and non for profit organizations. Then I decided to take a break from work due to some personal reasons and to raise a family. Later, I decided to change my career to nursing. My undergraduate GPA was 3.1 overall and 3.4 major, MPA gpa was 3.76. Currently, I am finishing up my prerequisite at waketech.

Hi bcdicke, From the earlier post someone mentioned that we should hear from the school in 3 weeks time so hopefully by the end of october or 1st week of november. Keep your fingers crossed and pray it comes earlier because the wait is exhausting.

Hi Gottostudy, I think the best thing to do is call the admission's committee and ask all your questions. Also, before I applied and handed my application I saw Ms. Beth Watkins. She looked at my entire application and calculated all my points etc. and then I submitted my application to her. I hope this helps and Good luck.

Hi jpwood3. Congrats on getting 163pts. Hopefully, soon we will be informed about our nursing school application. I am being optimistic that it will come sooner than later. I know it is wishful thinking.

Best of luck to you cjhonnie19! Hopefully, all of us will get in the program. I am not sure if I will get in as I have limited volunteer experience in a hospital setting. However, in the past I have worked for physician group practice for 2 yrs and then I worked with disabled population for 3 year holding different position. I hope that counts. I am being optimistic and hoping for the best. Also, I am taking nutrition right now which is my last prerequisite for UNC. Hopefully I will get a decent grade. Also did anyone attend the information session? I heard they are changing the requirements after spring 2019.

Hi, I am in the same boat as you. So I am not sure what exactly UNC is looking in a student. Waiting to hear from the school is exhausting. I dont know how much longer will it take them to post the letter. Hopefully soon!
