  1. I am scheduled to take my test in mid October. I will keep posted. The practice questions with rationales seem to help me best, I am not much of a reader. I am really hoping I can pull it off, it is a lot of money to fail...
  2. Hello fellow colleagues, I have just registered to take the CNE examination and I am looking for some beneficial feedback. What are the best things that I can do to help me prepare successfully or what do you feel was a game changer for you to be successful? I have the Billings & Halstead, Teaching in Nursing 4th ed - I plan on reading and reviewing that after reading other comments on CNE. Is the 4th ed still relevant or should I get the 5th? What about SAE from NLN? What study books are definitely worth their purchase? Any feedback is appreciated...Thanks in advance...
  3. Congrats, that is amazing! I just registered for my exam yesterday. I am on a tight budget. I already have the 4th Edition of Billings & Halstead; Teaching in Nursing (hope the 4th edition is still relevant)...But what are 1-2 other things that were really beneficial to your success? Thanks in advance.
  4. I am just looking for some helpful tips that will hopefully assist me with successfully passing the CNE. I just registered for the exam yesterday and I am already starting to get overwhelmed after reading all of the comments. I have read the the Billings & Halstead, Teaching in Nursing is an excellent resource. I have the 4th edition vs the 5th edition I am hoping there is not much difference. I am also on a pretty limited budget, so if you had to purchase only 1-2 things for preparation of the CNE, what would they be? Any other tips that may beneficial would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
  5. I just registered yesterday for the CNE. I finished my MSN-Nurse Educator track in June and I figured it would be best to try and take the exam, while some information is still fresh...After reading all of the comments though I am started to become overwhelmed. I have the Billings and Halstead; Teaching in Nursing book, but it is the 4th Edition. I am hoping that is just as good to use. I also am not sure what else I should purchase to study being on a budget and all. Once I hear back from AMP/PSI I am going to purchase the NLN SAE. Any suggestions?
