  1. Hello, I have been looking at MSN/MBA dual degrees. I would one day like to work in management of some degree. I am just asking for opinions and guidance from those who are working on this specific degree and/or have their MSN/MBA. Has this degree provided you with opportunities? What exactly have you learned from taking these dual degrees? Thanks!
  2. Hey, would you mind if I spoke to you privately about CNM and what the outlooks are like? I'd basically like to pick your brain about midwifery, it that's alright. I would private message you, but being a new user I can't send a private message yet. Thanks!
  3. Thank you so much for your response! I'd never thought there'd be informatics just for electronic medical record side of the OR. I think I'm just so worried about advancing my career because I've heard there are so many NP's that many aren't able to find jobs as NP's. Also, I've known of MSN nurses not being able to find work as an advanced nurse. They're still doing floor nursing.
  4. I am currently an ADN, RN who will soon be going back for my BSN. I've been looking into a few options as far as what I'd like to do after earning my BSN. Are there opportunities for nurses to have an MSN degree relating to the OR? I've seen CNOR and RNFA, but that's about it. I've narrowed down what I'd like to advance my career in, but they're very different fields so I'm trying to scope each field out to find out what I'd ultimately be happy doing.
  5. Hey, hope it's okay that I butt in and ask some questions! I am looking into what I want to do after I have obtained my BSN and Midwifery has always been at the top of my list of what I'd like to eventually do. From what I'm gathering in this thread is that being a CNM isn't just about obstetrics and delivering babies, would you mind elaborating on what areas a CNM can work? Also, is it difficult to find areas for a CNM to practice? In the area I am at now they don't allow CNM to come in for delivery so I'd end up having to move elsewhere, which isn't a big problem for me, currently.
