So I'm in a tough spot right now and would like some help with this situation. Was not sure where to post this so if this is in the wrong spot my apologies!
I graduated from a Maryland nursing school in 2021. I was on vacation in Florida shortly after graduation and took my NCLEX in Florida. Passed boards and obtained my Maryland RN license. Shortly after that, I ended up staying in Florida longer than expected due to a family member being sick. I ended up taking an RN position at the local hospital (in FL) and never applied for a licensure by endorsement. I had no idea this was something I needed to do. I seriously thought because my license was a multi state one I didn't need to do anything else with my licensure as FL is a part of the NLC as well. I know, huge mistake and honestly ignorant on my part.
It has been a little less than 2 years and I am now moving to Washington state (husband is military), should I still apply for a licensure by endorsement for Florida? Or just keep it moving and now apply for a Washington licensure by endorsement?
(as of today Washington state is part of the NLC)
