  1. Thank you so much for your reply!
  2. So I'm in a tough spot right now and would like some help with this situation. Was not sure where to post this so if this is in the wrong spot my apologies! I graduated from a Maryland nursing school in 2021. I was on vacation in Florida shortly after graduation and took my NCLEX in Florida. Passed boards and obtained my Maryland RN license. Shortly after that, I ended up staying in Florida longer than expected due to a family member being sick. I ended up taking an RN position at the local hospital (in FL) and never applied for a licensure by endorsement. I had no idea this was something I needed to do. I seriously thought because my license was a multi state one I didn't need to do anything else with my licensure as FL is a part of the NLC as well. I know, huge mistake and honestly ignorant on my part. It has been a little less than 2 years and I am now moving to Washington state (husband is military), should I still apply for a licensure by endorsement for Florida? Or just keep it moving and now apply for a Washington licensure by endorsement? (as of today Washington state is part of the NLC)
  3. Hi all! I am new to my area due to military orders, so I thought I'd give this site a try first! I am taking a required course in order to petition to the nursing program next spring. This week's assignment I have to ask an RN a few questions regarding the field. I would appreciate it if someone answered them Here are the questions: How long have you been in your field? How did you select your field? What are your duties? What do you like best about your field? What do you like least about your field? What education did you need to work in your field? What promotions are available in your field? What health care areas have you worked in? Thanks in advance!
