  1. Your may have to expand your search area. Look into AHMC hospitals (ahmchealth.com) Some of their hospitals are hiring new grads.
  2. A back to back admissions, discharges, a code blue, and a massive code brown. No, it wasn't because of that. I just finished meeting with the non-clinical numbers guy justifying my 15 minute overtime.
  3. I used to wear running shoes like sketchers, Reebok, Nike but they dont last long. I have to buy several pairs in a year. I tried switching to a hiking boots and I just love them.. I LOVE Keen high top hiking shoes. It's light, supports my ankle, and protect my toes. I have several co-workers who got injured at work from sprained ankle and toes getting run over by a gurney. Never have those problems so far. I tried other shoes, the last one was a New Balance. It was light and comfy but my feet started getting painful and tired not even halfway into the shift.
