  1. So here is my issue. I went to a ASN program here in Indiana and graduated back in December of 2017 and took the NCLEX 3 times with 265 questions each to fail. I was never below average on any topic but obviously not well enough to pass either. So after getting some advice on here about states that would allow me to sit for the LPN boards I took the NCLEX for LPN through another state and passed with 85 questions and was so excited until I tried to transfer by endorsement back to Indiana and they told me that I can't because I didn't graduate from an accredited LPN program. The state board recommended that I go back and take the two courses that the LPN's took and they would be glad to issue me my license here in Indiana. I wasn't happy about that but I was determined so I called my nursing school and they said no and then I called every other nursing school in the state and they also said no. They said if I wanted to do it I would have to start all over. So I called the state board back and they said there is nothing they can do to help me. I could drive to any of the surrounding states to work but that's not what I want to do. There has got to be something I can do to fix this mess that I am in. I am also still studying and hoping to take and pass my RN boards but it sure did feel nice to have a backup plan so that my education for 3 years didn't go to waste. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  2. So I graduated the ASN program back in the fall of last year 2017. I have had a couple unsuccessful attempts at the NCLEX both with 265 questions each. I have used Uworld, ATI, Kaplan (not by choice it was required) and Hurst Review. Those all helped some but I really feel that maybe at this point I need something more. I know my home state of Florida has all sorts of remediation courses that last for around 12 weeks and they review the hard hit materials as a refresher/remediation. But what I am looking for is something in the mid-west area closer to Indiana. I have scoured the web for days now and can't seem to find anything like that here in my area. So I am looking for suggestions of possible places that someone might know of. Please only reply if you have something constructive to add to this conversation. I am really not interested in how great the above programs worked for you, as I already said they didn't work for me. I made it through the ASN program with a 3.2 GPA and never had to repeat any classes so it's not as if I am dumb or something. And the program that I graduated from is #4 in our state so it's not that either. Just thought I would add that before people start psychoanalyzing me.
