  1. Preface: I’m a new grad and finally started working... not on the floor yet. In a required course as new RN almost completed. ______________________________________ Situation: I haven’t been adjusting well. My orientation days have been instense. My current orientation is a classroom setting. Exams and all. I know I shouldn’t have expected orientation (classroom) to be a breeze. It’s not what I expected. _______________________________________ •Diet: forgetting to eat; no appetite when I remember to eat •Sleep: max of 4.5-5 hrs of sleep; some 2 hrs •mentally: spacing out in the shower and when preparing everything for the next day Tired, fatigued, overwhelmed, exhausted, nervous Does anyone have any advice for a stressed out new grad?
  2. I’m about to write on your profile.
  3. I’m not really that qualified to tutor per say. But, I can offer some tips & tricks that worked for me. When do you take boards?
  4. Hey, Thanks. I’ve been looking on MBON’s website everyday since I passed. Still nothing.
  5. Hello, I took Nclex on the 10th. My unofficial results came on the 12th and I passed. I would like to know when I get my RN license number. I’m in MD. I’ll have my job as soon as the number comes in. I’m curious as to how long it will take.
  6. *This will be a long post* Hi, I’m sorry you have to retake the exam. I have some tips for you. everything I used •Uworld •Saunders •Sarah Registered nurse,RN videos •Picmonic pharm cards ________________________________ ~Uworld is a great way to help you pass. But i wasn’t so great confident with most nursing topics, so I got Saunders too. ~Saunders is comprehensive with a lot of info.but it helps you find out what is the main complication you are trying to avoid in each body system. __________________________________ Plan: — took 6 wk to prepare. I opened and jotted down Saunders topics I didn’t know much of anything (maternity/endocrine). —a min of 75 q a day. Studied rationales. Closer to my exam date I took 2 sets of 75 questions. Studied rationales and looked in Saunders for additional info. __________________________________ I was so certain I was going to fail the NCLEX. But I passed with 130q last Wednesday. You can get the other items on amazon.
