  1. Grossmont isn't the best. do some research. ask former students. The professors like to embarrass and intimidate students. I've never seen or experienced anything like it with other college courses
  2. I see alot of you stressing about points. It's a different number for each college. I got into all the SD county colleges but chose Grossmont. I wish I had done my research first. There's alot of bullying of students by the professors. I've seen it in my group and have met others that endured it from prior cohorts. It's really a thing and everyone else will see it happening but be afraid to speak up. In talking with nurses and professors elsewhere, I'm told it is not common practice in college. Usually it happens when you are new at work. So I started researching lawsuits against the college. Very interesting. Grossmont finally stopped asking for a picture with the application as there was a discrimination suit amongst some others. Be sure to look at such things for each school that interests you. If you can ask a grad, they may be honest as they are safely done.
