hey everyone, when applying, was there any way to submit letters of recommendation? I do not see that on the application at all when applying. what exactly was needed? do they only look at the GPA and essay?

Hey! Thanks for asking my questions ^_^ I really appreciate it. I realized that the program is for a associate nursing degree.. My biggest fear is not being able to get a job right after the program. If you don't mind me asking, how was job hunting for you/what do you do now and where/what do you recommend me to do to be a better candidate, besides volunteering, when applying for jobs?

If not, I probably won't spend time this summer retaking it I will most likely take the other ones like ANP 1 or MAT 104. How was ANP 1 at BMCC and who do you recommend me to take? Thanks ^_^

What course number is speech in BMCC? It's possible to enter the nursing program without finishing up pre-reqs? If you retook a course (say like Gen Chem 121), is there a way to report your better grade?

I hope you guys would be able to help me. I didn't do so well in university and my overall GPA was a 2.9. I was wondering if the nursing program looks at the GPA that you got from university or do they base the GPA on all the pre-reqs (PSY 100, MAT 104, BIO 425, ENG 101)? So say, you got all As in your pre-reqs, does that mean you would have a 4.0 GPA? How about CHE 121? Is CHE 121 necessary? I took CHE 121 at my university and got a C+ and I was planning to retake it at BMCC this summer if I need it. How about the KAT (Kaplan Admission Test)? How did you guys prepare for it? Did any particular test prep books/online tools help you prepare for it?
