Are nurses and doctors equal?
I believe that we are equal but it's like comparing apples to oranges. Nurses and doctors need to work together and see each other as doing equally important jobs, equally as valuable..because that is going to give the best patient outcome. Doctors are not always right and neither are nurses. No one is perfect. So often times nurses must speak up when they are in disagreement with another team member, when it's in best interest of the patient. That's patient advocating, which is part of everyone's job. So it's not only important to value ourselves as much as doctors, but also everyone else. Everyone is valuable and equal in that respect...even the housekeeping.

essential oils
Essential oils if used properly and the right kind, can be extremely beneficial:) there are are risks such as allergies (of course as with anything ) and using the right kind. Pharm grade and organic with no additives can be safely used if diluted in proper carrier substances, and making sure that they are okay for topical use, and things like that. One should not use an oil topically that is only meant for diffusing. aside from knowing precautions like that it's very useful and natural.

new, need some support
Hi everyone I just joined this site, I guess I miss nursing and working and being a nurse. I had to stop working several months ago because I became extremely ill with gluten enteropathy, malabsorption and malnutrition. I never fully recovered though I stopped eating gluten right away. It will be almost two years gluten free. Doctors couldn't figure out my case and I'm still very ill. Just recently I began developing wounds everywhere. My blood sugars are normal. But neuro symptoms and fevers, high wbc and a whole list of other symptoms. The lesions on my endoscopy look exactly like the ones on my head, and in my head there are nodules. So it's been frustrating. And I've been very depressed. I am so tired of being unwell and I miss working and being productive. I have a wealth of knowledge though on holistic and home remedies that are helping me. I was thinking of starting a health blog. Another nurse however told me this is not a good idea at all unless I do not mention that I am a nurse. Does anyone have any knowledge on nurses blogging? I would disclaimer that it's not medical advice, and that my info is merely from personal experiences, etc. anyway thank you for reading. Have a good day everyone
