Northeastern Direct Entry 2019
Thanks so much! I had one interview, very casual... basically just me asking questions about the program. I had the interview on a Wednesday and was accepted into the program via phone call on that Saturday!

Northeastern Direct Entry 2019
Hello everyone! I was accepted into the FNP specialty last week through phone call/email! Does anyone know if this direct entry program gives out merit scholarships? Also, I heard they don't send out acceptance packages with more info about the program?

Direct-Entry MSN - Fall 2019
Hello!! I am also getting ready to apply to multiple direct entry programs! I am applying to the programs within the Boston area (MGH, Simmons, BC...) and I'm super nervous but excited!! The only component on my application that I lack is direct patient care experience... I have a high gpa of 3.78 and prerequisites around 3.8 as well: I have recently graduated with a bachelors degree in biology. I have great recommendation letters and worked as a Research Facilitator at MBL as a summer paid internship. I also tutored anatomy and physiology and biology my senior year of college to fellow classmates. My GRE scores are pretty low (I am a horrible standardized test taker) so I am worried about not being accepted!! Input on my chances?? Good luck to everyone!

Direct Entry MSN: Advice
Hello Everyone! I am soon applying to schools in Boston and would like some advice. I want to become a FNP, but I am nervous that I will not get into a program. I keep switching between applying to an ABSN first, work as an RN, and later get my MSN... but on the other hand i would love to get into a direct entry MSN program since its a more direct path to what I want to do in the long run. I am a biology major, have a 3.97 major GPA and a 3.76 overall gpa. I am very involved around campus, including being part of a dance team, I am an anatomy and physiology/biology tutor, and recently got a great job at the marine biological lab. My prerequisite GPA is around a 3.85. I have no patient hours which makes me nervous! Overall, do you think its worth it to get my BSN first, then get my MSN later? And is getting into a direct entry MSN program harder to get into than an ABSN program? Lots of questions! Would love to hear some thoughts and advice! Thank you!
