  1. Thanks...this was my 3rd application...I have a 3.68 GPA...not the highest that I have seen, but I think pretty good. Was trying to go back to school for a career change. Going to have to shake something up and start studying for the TEAS. My last name starts with a "W" just in case anyone is trying to figure something out lol Just a portal update for now, no email yet or physical letter.
  2. Mine just updated to denied...best of luck to everyone else.
  3. Mine still says Application under review... ?
  4. After reading responses, I'm glad to see that I am not the only one here trying to back to school "later on in life" lol I would hope age doesn't play a factor...just trying to feel out the applicant list since we only know ppl by what they post ?
  5. Curious if anyone accepted falls in the 35 and older range?
  6. Same for me. Patient kiddos and hubby...I even retook some of my classes from earlier on to "raise the grades."
  7. Congrats! Did you get an email also?
  8. I believe it is 120 students each semester.
  9. If you are currently taking classes then the transcript from where you are currently registered will stay in the "To-Do" section until classes are completed and final transcript is sent. ? Good luck

Yes, my brother was actually diagnosed with this but it was not caught until he was 21. He passed out while at work, he ended up having a single bypass and has been fine ever since. Looks like it may have been this that he had after reading a previous post....: Radiofrequency catheter ablation. Thin, flexible tubes (catheters) are threaded through blood vessels to your heart. Electrodes at the catheter tips are heated to destroy (ablate) the extra electrical pathway causing your condition. Radiofrequency ablation permanently corrects the heart-rhythm problems in most people with WPW syndrome. I was young...I just know they went in thru his groin...he's 45 now so it's been a minute since it took place.
  11. I saw someone mention something about WGU...thoughts on this program???
  12. Yup, mine showed up in the portal yesterday with no email, or communication update with a formal letter...I'm sure that 's coming in the mail.
  13. Just sounds like you have "lived" as have most of us...it took me 8 years to get my 1st degree, but I did so while working full time as a single mom...the downside to the app process is not being able to tell your story. I think past years where they did an interview gave some that ability, and may have worked in their favor. So I wouldn't let the fact that it took you 3.5 years to finish your prereqs be a deciding factor...there are many on this board with stellar scores all denied for one reason or another. Time for those of us that didn't get in to pull ourselves up by the boot straps and start working on what we need to for the next application process. It will happen, might take another round or multiple applications at different places but we will ALL get there :) Let's just hope the next time our name goes in the BINGO ball we get picked!
  14. Maybe my post triggered it lol
  15. Portal just updated to "application denied"...anyone else?
  16. Yes, I'm thinking that also...it would be nice to 1.) get a transcript eval to make sure that you have everything you need at least and it's not a question on whether a class transfers or not, and 2.) to not wait until the actual decision deadline. Maybe it's me but I would think that sending out 1 big mass rejection email would not be that difficult...this way you can work on the next semester application and if any issue from #1 above you kind of have an idea on what you need to work on...courses, test scores, etc. Mine still says Under Review also, so I'm kind of assuming what meandy stated before...most likely a rejection. It would just be nice to know what I need to work on...but if it's a lottery system then no clue and I am going to reapply while I study for the TEAS to open up the application process to include more schools and hope for a bite. I also filled out the scholarship app hoping for the same thing since they do not interview anymore I figured this would be the only way to introduce yourself and not just your numbers.
  17. How did you get the update? Portal or email?
  18. I think your link will eventually post...it has to go thru the admin 1st to make sure your not spamming lol I had that happen when I tried posting info directly from the UTH website :)
  19. Yes congrats to all!!! I haven't received anything so I guess I will just be reapplying for Spring. Good luck to the future graduates!!!
  20. I didn't get one either...I have worried, stressed, and questioned because I have read others that have had some errors on transfer credits but we are at the end now and I just have to be patient. I have read from some that there have been ppl accepted who never received one, some wait listed and/or rejected that did...just trying to stay positive :)
  21. OMG...How many more ppl just checked because of this comment lol I did haha...mine is also gone...fingers, toes, & legs crossed all!!!
  22. My son graduated HS on Friday so I have been off the radar since Thursday...lots of post and still no acceptances yet...still patiently waiting lol Hope everyone has a safe Memorial Day, and God Bless our fallen vets!
  23. Wow...a 2nd one? Still waiting on a 1st one on my end lol
  24. I sent mine off as a "just in case." If it's coming down to the nitty gritty and they need to decide on a person that still shows pending work and one that has all the requirements met, I just wanted to give the extra info, even if it isn't calculated into my gpa.
