  1. In Colorado you will pay at least $300,000 for a decent house. That's an hour out from Denver
  2. I second this. I just finished the first year and it is by far just the volume of reading/homework mixed with clinical hours. You will feel like you never have enough time for any of it.
  3. Why would you think 25 is too old?! I'm 32 and half way through, The only limitations are the ones you put on yourself. I have children and a job and made it work, its difficult and I have a hard time around people too but realizing you'll do whatever it takes and its only temporary helps.
  4. Don't worry, I've done this on a doll once.
  5. I'm in an ADN program now, and I spend so many more hours with that than I would working on a normal week. I work one day a week and that seems too much at times, I also have children but am married. I couldn't do it without him working full time! There are weeks you wont even be able to get anything else at home done, and still feel behind on homework. They pile it on thick while you have LONG clinical hours and tests to study a ridiculous amount for. There are always unexpected costs too with added materials, books, uniforms, etc. I'm two weeks from finishing my first year and I'm running on fumes even with help.
  6. This is exactly what I would say! I've got four weeks left of my first year and I feel more overwhelmed than ever. I can't function without a detailed planner and schedules for everything. And I mean everything. I have to keep my eye on the next week but just take it a week at a time.
