I got a call for an interview today. Turned it down because I've already committed to another school. Good luck every one!

University of New England CRNA (2018)
I did not end up applying this year. Finishing the Chem 1, chem 2, Organic chem, and Biochem prerequisites (right after finishing my bachelor's) was going to mean being in school for two full years right before I would start at UNE so I decided to put in applications for a few other schools this year, and if I don't get in to any of them, to apply for UNE next year. I really didn't want to be burnt out in the middle of the program (not to mention broke!). Good luck to you!! Let me know how it goes.

I'm wondering that too! I didn't realize that submitting the application by Aug 1 would put us at such a disadvantage. Doesn't quite seem right..

Thanks for starting this thread! I haven't submitted my application yet because I'm sitting for my CCRN in the morning and I wanted to wait to add that on my resume (hoping that I pass). Looking forward to hearing more from everyone as the dates get closer!

I'm wondering how many people applied and what our chances are of being accepted. I always over analyze when I have enough time to think... I'm really hoping to be accepted.

Do you mean she called and left a message, or that you didn't get a call? Ahhh! I can't wait to find out.

Just a heads up - I also had no chem classes under my belt & UNE requires chem 1, 2, and organic chem before you take their biochem class. It's a lot!

I don't really have an interest in becoming a psych NP. I'm very dedicated to becoming a CRNA. It's more than the salary to me. Good luck with your career path, though!

I was also curious about their names- I interviewed with Dr. Davis and two others but I was so nervous I forgot to write their names down.

Hey! I'm currently applying for the 2020 start date. I'm wondering if you can tell me more about clinical rotations? Where did you have to move, and for how long? Is there any way to choose where you'll end up? Thanks for your help!

UNE CRNA 2020 Applicants
Hi Everyone! Just wanted to start a thread for University of New England CRNA applicants for 2020. I have so many questions! Does anyone know if they've been approved for the first DNP class? Any idea how many applicants vs accepted students there are, on average? Are 2 cohorts accepted each year, or only one in May? Finally- what's the deal with clinical sites? Can we choose where we go, and what percentage of time is spent outside of Portland? Good luck to everyone!
