I am currently in the ACNP track through Georgetown. They do their best to find your clinical site but due to COVID, some places won’t take students. It’s been a challenge. So far my rotations are in the same city I live in but for others, they’ve had to travel outside of the 100 mile window that they aim for.

That's interesting. Well, if people declined then I can only imagine some of the alternates were contacted. I was not one of them. Good luck and keep the hope alive!

I emailed Laura Lewis and asked specifically. We are ranked on a number scale, same as how they picked their top 30. With that being said, she stated they also take into consideration some of their notes from the interview and try to pick holistically. Do you know of any that were accepted from the alternate list?

I found out there are 20 on the alternate list but no idea if anyone has been called

Yes!!!! I got in! I'm so excited and nervous at the same time but really glad they didn't make me wait the entire 6 weeks!

I applied to the AG-ACNP track. It's only been a week so I'm trying not to get anxious. My advisor said I had a strong application but I'm trying not to let that get my hopes up too much!

That's amazing! Congrats! I received an email this week that said my application went for faculty review. I'm hoping I don't have to wait too long.

How long did it take from faculty review until you heard you were accepted? I'm sitting on the edge of my seat here!!

Hey ya'll. I couldn't wait any longer and emailed Laura Lewis. She said the 2019 class has been accepted and notified already. If you weren't called, apparently we will receive emails at the end of the month who is an alternate and who is declined altogether.

I believe the writing score is not added into the overall score. It is just the verbal and quantitative score together and the writing score separate. Some schools look at both scores but they aren't one solid score
