  1. Nurse Resident-Plastic Surgery (Dead Line to apply is Oct 22, 2018) Plastic SurgeryOct 8, 2018 Nurse Resident-Hopitalist Medicine 7th floor (Deadline to apply Oct 20, 2018 ) these just opened up!
  2. Yes please post any important info, I have to work so can't make it
  3. Where and what time is this mixer? Is it for new hires or like a job fair?
  4. Do you mind messaging me what it is your dissatisfied about please! They offered me a position and I'm hesitant because I would be taking a pay-cut from my current job and the drive will be longer, and the 3 year contract makes you wonder, and info you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  5. Also, from what I was told during the interview, the contract doesn't start until after the residency, so maybe give it a try so you can see how the work environment is and how your coworkers will be, if you don't like it, then you can just tell its just not for you...I'm in the same boat as you lol
  6. My offer requires a 3 year contract, I was apprehensive about it too because I don't want to be tied down by a contract, I plan on staying there long but the contract does make you rethink the offer. I've asked several of my nursing friends how they felt about it they told me to go ahead and take it because working at Parkland is great experience and it can open a lot of doors :)
  7. YAY! congrats to those who received offers!
  8. Has anyone received an offer? For any department?
  9. I actually reviewed my notes the day before and the morning before the test, I know a lot of people say not to do that but I couldn't help it, and I really only reviewed my weak spots.
  10. You need to email them or call them, I paid my fees after graduation and it was taking a while to get my ATT so I finally emailed them and they actually replied pretty quickly and I got my ATT 2 days later.
  11. I only used UWorld, I bought the 60 day package which came with one assessment, I did all 2000+ questions and reviewed all rationales and wrote down all the material I had trouble with. We took an ATI predictor in school and my probability of passing first try was 43% so of course I tried to bust my butt! I passed first time with only 75 questions, I would recommend doing about 75 questions on uworld on time mode and then reviewing right after. Also go over the material from pearsonvue that shows your weak spots. You made it through nursing school which is hard AF! do not get discouraged, you will pass this next time!
  12. Taking mine on July 11th in Texas, using uworld, been averaging In the 60s, a few 70s, I have been doing about 100 questions a day, I have about 300 left from the 2000 questions it has ... I hope it works!
  13. They've posted more, I applied to a few, deadline to apply is july 16Th
  14. they have some up now, they were posted last week, deadline to apply is july 16th!
  15. Has everyone that has applied gotten an interview? I applied a little late and I applied to all the resident programs except L&D and so far I've gotten 3 "no"s . I will be graduating in May but with my associates, does anyone know if they will take you if you're registered to start the BSN program? Because if that will help me to at least get an interview I can start looking!
