For those that accepted a position, have you heard if anything further is needed from us at this time? I have 17 out of the 18 steps completed on the task list. I hear that some hospitals will be starting their new residents earlier than expected due to the virus. I wonder if that will be the case with UTSW.

I think it is fine. I received an email that says the following: “This task will not appear as completed on your task bar until section 2 of the I-9 has been completed. Section 2 must be completed by a Human Resources Representative within three days of your date of hire.”

I think we just wait and do that part later. Were you able to login when the “online I-9 new hire packet” screen came up? It doesn’t take my login.

Received offer letter today.. PCU.

I haven't heard back from the PCU unit.

This was in response to an email I had sent them a few weeks back.

fyi..I received an email today from the Nurse Residency email address that said I will receive notification of my status shortly.

All remaining offers should go out or just offers for acute medical? ?

I’m waiting to hear from PCU also. Not sure how many they accept.. was wondering the same thing.

Does UTSW send rejection notices to all candidates that don’t get a spot?

I completed my digital interview on feb 9th.

I received an email to set up a phone interview. The phone interview was not really an interview, just a couple of quick questions (GPA, what units are you interested in). They then set me up for an in-person interview on 3/20.

Anyone heard anything back from the progressive care unit?

I interviewed on 1/24 for the progressive care unit. The people at the sign in table told me we should hear something back by the 2nd week in February.

Thank you! I called and they told me that someone monitors that nursing residency email address daily, but if someone didn't get back to me they would find someone for me to talk to. I feel better now! ?

I was accepted as well! I did not see any instructions in the email regarding InPlace either. I wonder if we will be getting a second email after we submit the acceptance form?
