I did not have to take it because I had a graduate degree

3.0 Overall (not the best), 3.6 prereq. I also have military medic experience and a masters degree with several years of medical experience.

Hi. I'm thinking of applying and wondering stats? And if already in. How is it so far? Anyone doing 12 month full FNP? Any insight would be greatly appreciated

@angelnurse2bee Overall GPA 3.1 Science GPA 3.5, pre-reqs 3.6. TEAS was 70 I believe. But I think if its over 60 your good. I did not interview. Hope this helps!

@Mr.lucky1 that is interesting because I was told complete opposite. I got the email today about the 3-5 sessions. I haven't selected which one but likely the first session. I also have a phone call tomorrow with stacyie to register for classes ( at least that is what I was told). When I chat with her tomorrow I will also verify CPR. Are done with all your prerequ? Are you in the Miami area? There is a FB page we started (if you are on FB). It might be easier to send messages back and forth.

@Mr.lucky1 so yes i am certified but per conversation with nursing program representative...Yes we have to still take it at Barry. The upcoming class I cannot make and have been waiting for reply for other dates

@Mr.lucky1 so from what i hear its a week or two before class. Its only a a few hours, done by 12ish. You should be getting an email with advising times to select class and I believe they will explain orientation. I got an email.

@Mr.lucky1 my understanding is that we are not offered any due to it not being a traditional program.

@Mr.lucky1 Hey. I got accepted back in late July. To be honest from what I have heard, you should be hearing soon then later because they have to prepare for cohort.

@Alyssa Rendon No, I have been in touch with one individual who is completing program now and he has been helpful. Aww Cali, I know all about big moves. I attended Barry years ago for grad school and did the big move. I moving but currently in Tampa, FL. I just left this weekend, looking for places to live and child care. I will be taking bioethics and religion starting next week as well. Stay waiting on guidance with required books etc. I try to be responsive on here but not many on here going for Jan 2020. Hopefully more reply.
