Did anyone get the email she said would be sent Friday? I didn't get one and just wanted to make sure I wasn't left off the list.

I just got an email about scheduling my New Hire Appointment and it also included the instructions and timeline for my drug test. I had 72 hours from the time I received the email to go complete the test.

I had my new hire orientation today where you submit all of your immunization records and paperwork and get your ID photo taken. She said that a big email will be going out this Friday, June 1. So everyone keep a lookout!

You're all good! I asked the same thing of the lady who sent me my offer email. She said "You can enter your graduation date as your license number (ex: 051218) for now. Once you get your license, you can update your employee file with your real license number."

Ultimately, I chose centennial over Vandy because I had a much better interview experience there. It just made me think if I didn't feel super welcome at the interview then I might feel that way working on the unit. I also was interviewing for a track that I didn't apply for and the unit I was offered at centennial aligned more with my interests. I tried to be really objective when deciding and not get caught up in the prestige of the Vanderbilt name. It also doesn't hurt that centennial pays a bit more. These are just my thoughts obviously and it's totally different for everyone. Congrats on getting both offers and good luck with your decision!!

I wore my scrubs to both skyline and centennial. I just accepted an offer at centennial for nights on the neuro med/surg unit!

This is not really related to jobs, but have people started applying for the TN BON? I am applying for a TN license by examination because I am from a non-compact state. Most of the application is straightforward, but I am a little confused by the passport photo signed by Dean/Director of school portion. For anyone that has done it, any advice? Does it need to be the original photo or can I scan it in and then have them sign it?

For people that have already interviewed at Skyline or Centennial. Did you wear your clinical scrubs/uniform to the interview?

Has anyone interviewed for the Adult Cardiac Stepdown track? I have mine this week and am really nervous!

I posted in the Tristar thread, but long story short, she didn't really give me a direct answer.

Laura Rich said for Skyline "all candidates regardless of preferred track will be interviewed by representatives from various clinical areas" and for Centennial we will be interviewed by 2 managers that may or may not be from our preferred area based on the managers' availability but we may still be considered for our preferred track. So she didn't really say whether or not they were full.

I had a phone interview, but wasn't able to go to the showcase. I didn't get an offer last week though, so I'm assuming I didn't get it even though I haven't gotten a rejection yet really

I have an interview at Skyline on the 29th and Centennial the 30th but now that I think of it, they weren't specific what units they were for. I emailed Laura Rich about it because I put ciritical care and ED as my top 2 so hopefully that's what they're for!
