I passed the NCLEX. I went in totally expecting to fail, but I passed. I should be happy but I am honestly terrified. I graduated nursing school with most of my clinicals being online or in SIM because of the pandemic and I totally do not feel prepar...
One advice for Zoom. Mute your mic if you are not talking because all that background noise from like 60 something people is going to drive you crazy! Yes there is a chat available for everyone to use. I usually keep my mic off and just type in the c...
It’s as hard as I expected it to be. I have had family and friends in this program, so I already knew it was going to be hard. Also depending on which class (day/eve) is also a factor in difficulty as well. I mean I was prepared to be stressed out of...
So far only UCSD Hillcrest is allowing students. So there is only one group of students that are actually physically in clinical. While all the other groups are doing case studies and virtual clinical simulation. But from what I heard is that the fac...
Hopefully. From what I heard from Grossmont students is that they completely shut down their program. So does that mean they will have 2 sets of first semester students? It seems complicated at this point. I am so glad that SWC decided to keep going....

I was thinking that it might be due to the instructors, but it was the same when my brother was in the program a couple years ago and the same when is girlfriend went through the program too. There were different night class instructors. I will have ...
I know that I will have to go to the day schedule, because of my work schedule. But I heard from multiple people that the night class is a easier than the day class. I am not sure why that is. If it weren’t for my work schedule I would actually prefe...
What I don’t understand is that compared to other schools they had the applications since the end of Jan. They had a full 3 months to go over applications! This is super frustrating. ?
I am so nervous! I am applying with 86 - 87 points. My points would have been 90 - 91 but its my company's policy not to write letters stating hours I work. Which makes me super sad.
From what I understand from the Nursing Information meeting is that you meet once a week for the lecture at the Rancho Bernardo campus and twice a week for clinical at a Hospital that is near where you live. Is that true? I have been to information m...
